The lighting and color is off on mine since my phone isn't from the last 5 years but still looks pretty good!
Nice!!!!clean set & nice artisan choices!

Thanks! I have a good amount of black and green artisans so I will probably be mixing and matching a lot. I also going to see what GMK Olivia will look like, although there is no 1.75 pink enter key :(

So excellent! This might be one of the best uses of DSA Milkshake I've seen thus far; goes great with the purple and that column of fruit is really cute.

Got mine and was finally able to build it up and loving it so far. I am not proficient with QMK yet so I know I will be able to fix it there, but from my attempt I am unable to access the numbers through pressing the function keys in any way. I thought from looking at the photo of the layout they would be on the home row. Also, I am not able to to any of exclamation point, 'at' sign, etc.. either. I am pressing all sorts of combos but if anyone knows and help a fool out then I would very appreciative [happy face]

Mmm, have you tried checking QMK documentation? I suggest you maybe try re-flashing your board with default keymapping? There's something not right for sure.

Also those board photos...  :eek

I gotta say every single TMO50 I see, I shed a tiny tear of joy. :D

If you haven't worked out the problem yet, send me a PM here and I can try help you through it. Though I'm currently pretty sick and sleeping a lot so not online a ton, though i'd love to help you!

Definitely not my flashing... it's like all the keys are shifted 1u to the right whenever I used QMK Config. Guess I have to do this the old school way.

How are you creating the layout? Is it via a .hex file and then giving that to QMK Toolbox?

They're on pins B0 to B3, something like this should do it: https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/blob/master/keyboards/handwired/woodpad/keymaps/drashna/keymap.c#L74-L88.

Honestly, I wish I understood any of that. What is PORTF? What's the difference vs PORTB?

Help needed here:

1. is there any hex file and json file available to download? I want to change a bit the keymap from the default one so backup is extremely helpful.

2. How to enable to layout led indicator? I know that the one without the circle is VCC(+)..

3. How to change the under-glow RGB led mode? I only able to change the color, but the effect is only breathing...

Thanks for your help.

Hi!

1. I have a .hex and .json files for the default. I'll share them here after an edit. But if you know how to use QMK, default layers on here. ;)
2. In the works, what functionality are you looking for?
3. Please refer to the cheat sheet I've shared here. Hold down MO(3) and press Z to toggle through them.

Figured it out.

-----

Add the following at the bottom of your keymap.c if you want the indicator LEDs to light up by layer :thumb:

Code: [Select]
void matrix_init_user(void) {
  DDRB |= (1 << PB0); //init B0
  PORTB &= ~(1 << PB0); //turn on B0
  DDRB |= (1 << PB1);
  PORTB |= (1<<PB1); //turn off B1
  DDRB |= (1 << PB2);
  PORTB |= (1<<PB2);
  DDRB |= (1 << PB3);
  PORTB |= (1<<PB3);
}

uint32_t layer_state_set_user(uint32_t state)
{
  // if on layer 0, turn on B0 LED, otherwise off.
    if (biton32(state) == 0) {
        PORTB &= ~(1<<PB0);
    } else {
        PORTB |= (1<<PB0);
    }

  // if on layer 1, turn on B1 LED, otherwise off.
    if (biton32(state) == 1) {
        PORTB &= ~(1<<PB1);
    } else {
        PORTB |= (1<<PB1);
    }
  // if on layer 2, turn on B2 LED, otherwise off.
    if (biton32(state) == 2) {
        PORTB &= ~(1<<PB2);
    } else {
        PORTB |= (1<<PB2);
    }

  // if on layer 3, turn on B3 LED, otherwise off.
    if (biton32(state) == 3) {
        PORTB &= ~(1<<PB3);
    } else {
        PORTB |= (1<<PB3);
    }

    return state;
}

funderburker has been notified of this and he will be pushing this onto the main default keymap.c on the QMK repo

Using the other split spacebar as a layer toggle. Also ignore the R4 ctrl. Didn't want two tab keys.

About the led indicators, when press Fn(1) to type number, for example, no led turn on or the layout 0 is a default, I would expect the led layout 0 to shine, is it suppose to be that way?

I'm having the same problem as Lunr, when I try to flash my TMO50 using the QMK Configurator + QMK Toolbox. I know my layout has been made and compiled correctly, but when I flash it, all the keys are basically shifted to the right by a column. Anyone else have or solve this issue?

Hi. Did you include the newest code LightningXI posted a few posts back? If you use the .json file to make your keymapping, you'll need to add this code in yourself anyway but it'll be in QMK codebase after the PR goes through. You can find .hex and .json file here

I haven't used QMK configurator + QMK Toolbox but it sounds like there's an issue with that quirkly Col1. I added a .json file here so you can try and replicate the matrix. I think Lunr got it fixed though so maybe he can help.

Hey all, I believe I've fixed the issues people have been having with QMK.

If you have been creating your .hex files using command line QMK, I'm sorry. You'll have to redo them. I had to change the physical matrix, and thus how the keymap is laid out. If you're using QMK Configurator, it works now!!!

On that note, please give our beta a try: https://yanfali.github.io/qmk_configurator/#/?filter=tmo50

Is there any way to dim the indicator lights programmatically (or at least set the brightness when the keyboard turns on) ?

i don't believe so since it's based on resistance but i've been wrong before

Where are we at with a R2 of this?  Failing that, if anyone is keen on moving their R1 please hmu.

No news about R2 yet but you'd want to ask Kelly for more information

Main build bit done!! I haven't done indicator LEDs yet, and my current keyset is a little lacking in the spacebars/100% correct profiles front, but dang I love this board so far

The top left switch is a linear locking one, and the rest are Kailh Box Yellows with Hako True springs because I love both linears and punishing myself when I bottom out.

(edit: took me three tries to get this post right sorry if anyone saw any of the half formed ones)
