@ jokrik: Agreed, that looks like a true home office.  :thumb:

Meanwhile, my office is the same room as my bedroom and my workshop lol. One day I will be able to have a home office. One day. :]

Oh that old thing? hue hue hue. That LZ isn't going anywhere. <3

Matchy matchy matchy. I think one of the reasons I got into mech keyboards was because I was looking for something to match, lol. Little did I know I'd be so deep into this hobby.  :))

I think it's all because desks are our sanctuaries. :]

I very like the blue and white.  Sweet setup :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Not complaining thats for sure, but I would like to clean it so I can take pictures of it and share. I also need to get a second desk, that way I can separate where I go on the computer, vs where I solder, since I run too high of a risk of burning my desk/boards.

LOL, I do need more shelving.   :-[   Unfortunately, new shelving is way more expensive than I'd like to spend, and the selection of used shelving around me isn't spectacular.  But I need ~4 more shelving units, you are correct.

Hoff, Why do you have so many ball-cup-string-toys (I don't know the official name)? Are they different weights/sizes or just different colors?

Last year at keycon there was a thing for them, and he picked one up, there is a thread for it.

At KeyCon West 2014 we had a bit of an impromptu Kendama competition.  I promptly got addicted to Kendama and we started a "team" here on GH;)

They do have slightly different weights/textures, which makes them behave slightly different, but the main reason I got so many was both to have more options to practice (and share with friends) and because Lingj sent me a few used ones from a big lot he bought.   :thumb:

Both desks (home/work) are motorized, you can adjust it down. I stand most of the time though.

No shame, man.  You can post a messy desk.  ;)

Home Version III Current

-Purchased two 60X36 Maple Butcher Block tops from Grizzly Industrial.
-They have a Durakryl finish so there is no oiling or mess. They feel a lot like a basketball floor, just a thinner coating.

http://www.grizzly.com/products/Solid-Maple-Workbench-Top-60-Wide-x-36-Deep-x-1-3-4-Thick/G9918

We picked them up in the Wife's GTI to avoid the $150 shipping price. They just barely fit.

I'm still dialing in the monitor positioning, I'm not a big fan of profile but the space is awesome.

That's the plan.  Make you so confused/distracted that you forget to steal anything and then I come home and catch you.  And then I punish you for being a naughty boy.

I just noticed your falling water set, I have one, as well as the Guggenheim and I think another one.
