I feel dumb... But mind my noobyness, new to the forums

How do i go about placing said pixel art image into my forum signature?..

haha don't worry, it's easy.

up the top of the page, click Profile, then Forum Profile. you should see a Personalized Picture section

here's a direct link anyway tho

edit: I realise this morning that I gave you instructions for changing your profile pic instead, sorry lol. you should be able to find how to I change your signature somewhere in the settings close to that though

Oh, i know how to change my signature in terms of text, i just for the life of me cannot figure out how to place a picture into the text box that is given in the signature editing section.

ohh right, gotcha.

yeah you'll need to take the image link: http://i.imgur.com/Fu5uMHy.png and wrap it in image [IMG] tags

Edit : derp i posted after the last response

Can anyone do this one?

It's my poker 2 pcb in a mkc purple aluminum case with a purple brocap. The brocap is like a dark purple color as per the picture. It also has Ivan's cherry profile dark pbt hangul keycaps.

I put a second pic for reference.

Here you go

Not that it matters all that much for the pixel art but that's Cyrillic not Hangul, the layout for the subtext looks the same though so it shouldn't make a difference.

Let me know if you want anything changed.

I know. I keep calling it hangul by accident.

Thanks. It looks awesome! :)

It's the same way you'd add an image to a post-- you use 'img' tags around the url like so:
Code: [Select]
[img]http://someurlwithimage.jpg[/img]So in your particular case, this code should work:
Code: [Select]

Most people find one that is similar (same size) as you want, load it into Paint or GIMP or similar, zoom in a bit, and change the pixel colours.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I use "Art Studio" on my iPad. When I save it as PNG it still never maintains transparency when I put it online. I just matched the background color to the color in the signature area  :D

Wow~ thank you very much

STARLORDCOFFEE thank you!!

Happy I could help. Your signature looks great!

Anyone feel like making a pixel version of my WASD?

Would be much appreciated and I don't think it would be that much work.

I made a board which I can't draw in the standard 1u = 3 pixels scale, do I have to redo my other three in 1u = 4 pixels? :-\

Don't know if the colors are right.  :(

Edit: for some reason my files aren't loading properly. Will have to come back to this.

Wow, that's way more than 3px/key yet still tiny!  Hopefully it will be all black soon except F&J (should probably have mentioned that) but I should be able fix it.  Have to make the others look this good now too...

Thank you very much :)

Thanks, the pic worked fine the first time, and surprisingly it is only 3 pixels per key!  Not sure why it didn't work when I tried to make it though

Yea, not a problem. Thanks, if you want to use the Whitefox go for it. I was gonna make the remaining layouts for people to use if they wanted but I don't mind if someone else does it.

What program do you use to make these, and is there a guide? I don't want to bother anyone with requests (and my board isn't complete anyhow).

I use Photoshop because that's what I use for work as well. You could technically do these in MS Paint. Nothing really special or hard about it. Just grab an existing image that most closely resembles what you want to make and go from there. You'll have to be really zoomed in so you can see the pixels and properly paint stuff.

Once you learn how to make them, it literally takes 5 minutes so feel free to make a request.

Photoshop for me as well.  Find one that's close to what you want, zoom in to 500% and use a 3px pencil set to your chosen color.  Works perfect for me.

MS Paint, the pencil at the smallest setting.

Working with MSpaint too (pre Windows7 version). But switch to PS to change color mode of templates for example.

Also I'm kinda tempted to acquire a Planck... they look really cute as pixel boards.  :-X
