according to the description, it's only the keycaps that were moved from the trackpoint to the spacesaver, and the casing sprayed black.  the innards are still the original innards from the spacesaver, not modified innards from the trackpoint.

it looks nice but i'd like to know what method they used to paint it (and how long scratch and peel proof the paint is)

It's unique, but according to the description black spray paint was used instead of vinyl dye. Eww!

Errr are you sure you read it thorougly my friend =\, and if you look at the picture you can see the missing trackpoint between the G & H

I agree with Alpslover.  "Ripping the keys" out of a model M is nothing more than pulling them off.  All this person did was remove the keycaps and stems from a trackpoint keyboard and put them on his spacesaver.  The "missing trackpoint" is the G and H keys having a scooped section where they make room for the trackpoint.  

No elite hacking/modding was done here.  This is simply a key swap and bad paint job.

Word, it looks horrid.
