His insidy bits scare me a little to tell you the truth. Also the inside of a human is gross.
Which reminds me I once saw a guy getting operated on in the leg and I ALMOST lost my ****. Had to flip it off once they really got going(That's what she said).
But to get back on track: how many pc's do you have in your house now?

~30 assembled, ~45+ in total parts.
GOALS.

I discovered a Reddit AMA yesterday about a guy who mangled his foot in a motorcycle accident and had to get his leg amputated below the knee. He asked the doctor if he could keep his leg. He and his friends cooked part of the leg muscle and ate it in tacos. He had pictures documenting the whole thing, and I felt a little nauseated. The comments on the post were hilarious, but even thinking about it now is giving me a slight physical reaction.

Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

The world has become a weird place.

This couldn't have been in the USA, I imagine. No doctor I ever heard of let's you keep any genetic material they remove from you these days.   I had a cyst removed from my back a few years ago and my dermatologist wouldn't even let me keep that. Of course, they routinely send that stuff to labs for testing.

Rainforest has anacondas and bothrops tho
Especially on Ilha da Queimada Grande.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

There's a beautiful species of viper that lives only on that island and no where else in the world. I'm sure humans will find a way to kill it off in a few years.

Car troubles. I have an electrical bug.

Today my car decided to drain the battery dead in about 20 minutes.
Charging system is good with new battery and alternator.
Something with the cab lighting, once I got the battery recharged and back in, I noticed my dome lights were on. Thing is, the switch was off and the doors were closed, I open the door, lights go out and wouldn't come back on until I turned them on with the switch.

This poor car has been a victim of bad DIY.
One fun thing is when I engage the hazards, they don't do anything, but the horn honks. Not even fun like honking but just a steady hold. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK until I turn them off.

Maybe I should post in the car thread about all the crap I've done and am doing with it.
Nothing exciting, just a '96 S10.

IDK what the legality is, but back in the day,  when Tp4 lived in the 3rd world,  the neighborhood smith's kid just made his own gun out of some pipes..  This was probably very dangerous, but we were 4 yr old at the time, and there were no Legos or Electronix.

It didn't shoot very far or accurately because all we had were old typeset inserts for bullets, so it was hard to get a good packing, and well, the inserts were square column pegs, hahahahaha

mm... objectively, everything is better in murica. Food, Video Games, Internet, Legos..

I wouldn't say I am unhappy. However, the broad vision bestowed by technology also enlightens oneself of personal insignificance and the futility against a drowning universe where happiness is only relative if not impossible.

**** that got dark.
I think, for me at least, happiness is very subjective.
What makes me happy might not make you happy.
For instance, I never thought I'd get married, and had actually become quite okay with the thought of being alone for the rest of my life. I had been alone most of my life so not having a girlfriend became normal.
My biggest dream was getting married to someone, wearing the ring proudly.
Then I don't know what tf happened but suddenly women started noticing me and I found the wife.
I am still happy and content most of the time because I got my biggest wish fulfilled.
I hope your wish comes true as well TP. <3

When people (my folks use to do this too) add water to the soap dispenser instead of buying more soap. I hate to be that guy, but the chlorine in the water is just not enough.

u mean slush it around to get all the soap on the side of the dispenser ?   or just put water in the dispenser, because that's pointless

Well obviously the application of water into the dispenser (slushing, swishing, atomizing, etc.) is to prolong the use of the dispenser while providing subpar levels of cleanliness.

My two favourite songs by a band aren't actually by that band, they're by another one that's alphabetically after them.  That means I have three albums by this band and don't know/like a single song :-\

Not sure if I'm more bothered that I wasted money on two more albums after the first was meh or by the fact that the whole world is right and I'm crazy for using a music player with no screen to be able to make this mistake.

I am bored at work every day. There is absolutely nothing to do. I feel useless.
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

The world has become a weird place.

Woke up twice with a cramp in my right leg.

Early afternoon now, and it still feels sore and like it's going to cramp again.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Perfect time to shop for that VA curved monitor
:))
It'll be a while yet before I am able to get it.
I haven't done a lot of reading yet on the different kinds of panel, but I am assuming VA is better than IPS?
