Can Clack 3Ds fade/yellow?
« on: Fri, 19 May 2017, 23:32:44 »
I have a Clack 3D, and it seems like it's a few shades off from white white.

I'm sure the pictures on the Elite Keyboard page aren't 100% accurate, but they look a lot more white than mine. http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,cherrymxkeys&pid=cf_5c_sku_3d

Resin like all other plastics will eventually yellow, even minimizing exposure will not be enough, a few of my older clacks have some discoloration and they haven't seen the sun in two years

Do you think retrobrite would help lighten it up a bit? Or would I just ruin everything lol

Retrobrite is for ABS so that'd be a bad idea, but part of me is curious to see what'd happen if you tried.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done
