Used and worn ducky mini v2? Everything included, just some signs of wear on caps and case.

Cross year of the snake fountain pen with everything included and a replaced nib (replaced by cross)

Zombro MX / Lime UMAD (wondering if I overpaid. Pretty sure I overpaid by a bit)

I completely understand why everyone always says retail however some of these 'retail' prices are difficult to go back and look up.

I know Bro Caps is a busy guy and I'd rather him spend his free time doing other things but I wonder if he'd be willing to throw together a list of his caps he's sold and the retail prices so we can point people to that list?

I wonder if this is something that could be added to Vesper's catalog? Images are there so that feels like half the battle. I've always gone to https://ctrlalt.io/bro-caps but there are numerous forum sales and those mystery email sales  :-\

I have a IBM mod M SSK pictured below. It's in perfect working condition and comes with this extra long IBM SDL cable. I am trying to get an idea of what would be a fair value of this.

Let me know if you require any more information on this.

Those are some interesting legends. Clearly one of the early word-processing programs, but I can't figure/remember which.

I love that "Backspace"! "Word" caps are desired, too.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Wow, Displaywrite SSK! These do not appear too often. Did it have stepped Ctrl/Alt keys? It's near original... Worth at least $250, I would say as high as $325, more if bolt-modded.

Thanks for the price idea. I don't think it's bolt modded. I've got this from a guy who was selling his old stuff. I already have a Model M space saver that I'm using. Ctrl/Alt keys are not stepped though.

You think I should put it on eBay and let people bid or should I try selling it here at geek hack ?

You should keep the Displaywrite SSK and sell off the old one :)

But, If you really want to sell the Displaywrite: I would personally recommend selling it in the classifieds but you need a 25 post count and 2 months of membership to do so. There's much to talk about and a few resident IBM gurus (fohat.digs, snowdog, etc) You could always make a private eBay listing and just list it on the Members Auction board, so only Geekhackers can get it :) ; I say this because this is not a common SSK and might be more appreciated by one of us here. But that's just my .02 cents

If you just want to sell your regular SSK, throw it up on eBay. It would get a nice price too, ~$175-200 would be fair IMO.

Do not bolt-mod it.

First, you seldom get any extra money, and very very rarely enough to make it worth all the time and trouble.

Second, if you hope to get a premium for this, it will be from a silly collector who will want it "factory stock" without any modifications at all.

If I had this keyboard, I would clean it and test it thoroughly, to ensure that it was immaculate throughout, and then list it at a ridiculous high price.
I would probably even drop $40 on an orihalcon cable to make it even more desirable.

Then I would lower my price by 10% per week until it sold. If it sold in under 24 hours, I would kick myself for pricing it too low.

Thanks for the suggestion! Sounds great to me :)

I've already thoroughly cleaned and tested this keyboard and that is when I realized how neat this unit is. I'll prepare eBay listing and see how that goes.

Cheers,

EPSON Q203A keyboard?  Seems like it has Fujitsu Peerless switches.

Maybe $30 shipped if you're lucky, Fujitsu peerless switches aren't very popular.

Ok, hi. Now I really don't want to sell it or anything, just wanted to know what do y'all think it would be worth.
Talking about the so-called "first ever cherry mechanical keyboard", like the one featured in this here video.
And the one I'm talking about is actually more "complete", as it happens to have all the cables and connectors.

I surely will add lots of photos in a separate topic when it arrives. :thumb:

What switches does it have? How used are the keycaps?

Prices on these can really vary depending on who is looking for one. I've bought and sold for $90 and I've seen others pay >$150 and I think someone found some cheap ones ~$50 a few places.

So short answer price depends on more details.

How much could I get for a broken Ducky Shine 3? Red switches, Green LED's, default key cap set. Will throw in the original box and paperwork that came with the keyboard since I'll have no use for it. I just want to keep the keycap puller :D.

I broke it by plugging in the cable that connects to the red PCB wrong and it fried the controller.

If the controller could be replaced, it will be fully functional again I was told. None of the LED's are dead, everything was functional before my dumbass fried it.

Oh, I forgot to mention I painted the case white. If that matters.

I figured I would try and sell it because it would be quite expensive for me to try and fix it myself plus I have very  little knowledge on soldering so maybe one of you can buy it for a good price and fix it yourselves or use it for parts or whatever you want to do with it.

Not what you paid for it anyway  :))

Most will say retail, but if you want a actual price realistically around $100-150

Thanks. i know little about that. what i really need is toxic reaper.

Price check on new WoB OG Cherry doubleshots (105key ISO G8x-1800 layout, French AZERTY).
I'm curious about both "absolute" price and value relative to the POM alternative (laser+infill legends).

A lot of those were found on those Raptor boards, so I would guess somewhere below 50EUR. POM 20EUR~.

What's a good price for an HHKB Pro 1 vs a Pro 2?
I've been doing some research on here and mechmarket to see the prices, and it seems like Pro 1's go for more than Pro 2's, is that correct?

Also, what do you guys think is a fair price for a yellowed Pro 2?
