Wickedly sick profile caps Matt3o, much love!
Are these key caps ABS material double-shot legend printing or will CTRL-ALT-io be running this batch in PBT?  Do you have a quantity expected to be produced?  Thanks and please keep the runs coming.

I am so pissed I missed out on the Granite PBT set.  Please do bring this set back!

This is such a great set Matt3o. Trying to optimize my purchase without overbuying, but I fear I'm just going to have to order both base sets. Not complaining, but I wish there was a way to get the burgundy mods by themselves.

Since I'll be rocking these on a 60%, there's no way to get a secondary color without the burgundy mods. Again, not complaining, just thinking out loud as it were and wishing I had more money so I could just buy one of everything.  :p

yes, it's ABS double shot.

In a couple of days I'll let everybody know how the GB is going so far. All I know is that it started a bit slow but it is steady like a dwarf: unbeatable in the long distance.

I hear you. I wish I could offer smaller kits, but Bunny has to physically ship the packages, so he has the final word on that.

And now a word to all the international buyer:

BUY THE INTL KITS!

I hate you guys, in the IC it seemed that without the intl kits you were going to die, and now that you have them you don't buy them?!

Next time I'll spare myself the time to design them! :P

From my perception, it seems like the IC to GB turnover rate is about 50%, is that your experience?

Matt3o, in the Pro Mods kit, there are R4 1.75U Shift and R4 1.75U Control keys. If that Control key is meant to replace Caps Lock, shouldn't it be R3 like the stepped R3 1.75U Ctrl?

I'll check with SP and ctrlalt, I'll do my best to add both keys (r3 and r4 1.75u control)

well it depends on the GB. Granite for example went way better than expected.

It took a high degree of restraint to keep my order to just the burgundy set and the alternate functions. But the good news is that keyboard-related purchases for the month don't yet exceed my housing payment!

I think the filco minila uses a 1.75 ctrl key. Maybe for that?

Correct. I made sure Matt3o included all the necessary keys for the Minila! :D

Same here, this was the first Matt3o Key-set released on Geekhack at a time when boring key-set designs was quite common.

His colour-way was almost too delicious to ignore but it's relation to the past A64 PC is simply great.  The SA profile makes it more perfect than his first edition on DSA, he always goes the extra mile when it comes to designing each key.

Trust me, when this key-set passes into history you'll have desperate people pleading to us, to sell our stash of these fine pieces of Art.  Matt3o is the Renaissance Artist in Key-sets today so do not ever miss out on a prime opportunity to acquire some unique pieces of art in the form of ABS plastic  :thumb: .

When it comes to innovative key-set colour-ways, I sure do.   Always give credit to the Creatives because they inhabit a unique area of seeing something beautiful and applying it to anything, that includes key-sets.

Matt3o's key-sets are always unique and have that special composition with Legends on all the individual keys that most ignore or couldn't care less about but this guy makes sure it counts and you notice it when you use the keys up close, that is why I always frame his complete key-set on my wall with his name applied.

People think that designing a whole key-set is easy but it's not, again you can compare his vision of what key-sets should look like verses everyone else's and you'll quickly come to the conclusion that his key-sets have that special ambience and quality, which is unique to Matt3o.

It seems that more often than not the majority do like the sets you design.

Very much! :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I will have the opportunity to try out SA 1 or 2 days after the group buy ends, I'd like to use this opportunity to make up my mind on this set.

I've made an order but haven't paid it. Could I pay it (or cancel my order) slightly after the GB ends on the Ctrl.Alt.io site? If so who should I contact about it? Bunny or Matt3o ?

Thanks.

Early days yet, so don't worry they'll come running when the deadline looms.

This is your BEST ever key-set release hence be patient about the order numbers.  You've provided so many extras with this set it's unbelievable to even fully comprehend the possibilities in customizing any keyboard, with these beauties.

SA Retro is to die for  :o .

Hi Bunny and matt3o, I have placed the order through ctrlalt site. When I checked my order, there are three of them where one says "Paid" (which I did) and the other two says "Unpaid" which I believe caused by me adding them into the cart.

How does the cancellation goes? I wish to keep the "Paid" one and remove the two "Unpaid" orders or perhaps I just leave it there?

Thanks and I can't believe the SA Retro is happening right now!! =p

SA Retro didn't have a boom-start, but orders are steady, uncommon for GBs where usually you get all orders on day-1 and the last day. If orders keep coming at the current pace we shouldn't have any problem.

It is very likely that we will be adding a bonus pack with side printed legends! That would make this set absolutely gorgeous!

If a bonus pack happens I'd love to see a 75% support:
either pg up & pg down on r3 r4
or home & end on r3 r4 since we got them in R1 R2 in the main set.
