Hrmpf. We will see. I don't think I have even half the stuff you used to pull that off.

If you're truly intimidated by the Cherry-to-BS mod, PM me.
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.

This is a customized 108-key version for Ducky 108 keyboards, I wouldn't compare it with those of Topre, but better off let iMav or other experienced members to figure it out:)

If our fellow member is also interested in knowing more about the PBT ones, I can also send you a set or two for review (for free).  I'm sure the resellers/vendors here will be very happy to help, if you like to buy after all:P

P.S. I earnestly hope my gratitude wouldn't affect the normal business of the resellers here.

There are no shipping issues.  However, there is the issue of you missing the deadline of 11:59pm, 28 May 2010.  (read the thread in it's entirety...or, at least, all the posts from me)

P.S. How come the spacebar appears misaligned? (not seated?)
The Ducky I have does not look like that (space bar is level).

I'd volunteer to do a review of keys.  I did the Key Reference wiki and co-authored the "All About Keys" wiki so I am pretty experienced.  PM me if you'd like me to do a review and I'll send you my address.

P.S. How come the spacebar appears misaligned? (not seated?)

Yes certainly, it will be convincing if they are reviewed by a member like you.

Can you allow me to say your observation really,,, make me speechless, your last question about the dome 2-shot keycap of G80-1863 hasn't got answered yet, (I have been doing lots of asking around).

Can I suggest sending the 2 sets of PBT keycaps together with the Ducky keycaps to iMav first, and then seek his help to forward them to you in US? I think this will be a more cost effective way to ship them, and you don't have to take the risk of disclosing your address to a new comer.

pang's so modest, I've been dealing with him to get a Ducky keyboard shipped over and it's been the most pleasant online buying experience I've ever had, the board should be here within the next day or so. New comer or not, he's a great member of this community, which I'm contemplating running away from once I get my board lest I end up giving into this unshakable urge to buy a topre.

Pang is great.  I am in the process of trading him a new Ducky for a new Endurapro.  I've already received the Ducky and he has been very patient with me getting the Eudurapro to him.  (delayed from Unicomp due to some other items I added to the order)

Should have it out to him tomorrow.

Pang's Endurapro is on its way...as well as all the geekhack keys.  (fortuantely, all the keys went out as first class letters.  Otherwise, that would've been a ton of customs forms to fill out!)

BTW, anyone interested in some Alps geekhack keys?  :)

I've got an FK-5001 waiting for its GeekHack key now...however, bit of a problem. The profiles of the keys on this are wonky...and the Esc key is oversized. It'll be a challenge finding a spot to put the key.

Thanks iMav for being so generous :)

I presume the key profile of the Alps one is identical to the Cherry one? Looks the same in photos, just wanna be sure though.

I think Robert Bosch GmbH is still independent, but this joint-venture thing (BSH) they did for home appliances is now mainly lead by Siemens (decision wise) for some time already. Well, I could be wrong, as I got this info mainly from hearsay (I work for Siemens). But as we talk about it... When we dropped production of mobile phones, some big bug made the statement "We can build mobile phones that are expensive but work for 5 or more years, but people want mobile phones that are cheap and break after 2 years (most people get a new one when the contract ends after 24 months), others can do this better" :D

Thank you for the wonderful birthday present, iMav! I'm turning 19 today, got a letter in the mail from Wisconsin. I thought for a moment that it was a card from my cousin Becky, but she moved to Florida a year ago. I open it up, and what do I find but a Geekhack key?
