iMav is there any Orange/Black Cherry mx Key available?

I think this one would specially fit very well in the noppo choc mini with the brown lettering.

If the answer is yes I'm ready to pay via paypal.
[strike]I've got two left.[/strike]

I've got one Cherry MX orange-on-black GH key left.

Out of the Cherry MX keys...but plenty of Alps keys available.

We'll do another order in a bit once additional demand is established.  :)

I think it's safe to say there's almost always demand, especially if you keep changing colors... :P I know I'm in for 2 every time you do a new color scheme.

I've noticed that several of the popular, contemporary mechanical producers offer packets of alternate ASWD and ESC keys, usually in (that) lavender and red respectively. It might be cool to flip that scheme on its head and do a run of lavender Geek Hack keys. Lavender would help it "pop" aesthetically. Tone-on-tone or engraved would be even sexier -- mostly because a contrasting ink/color on the top of the key would detract from otaku setups.

I'd love a white on lavender, but I don't know how popular that'd be. White on light blue would be nice as well, and probably more popular.

seconded. I want my vintage-style geekhack key XD.
If this is a possibility, I would love this grey/green key on my model M, how much more expensive would it be? I'm guessing unicomp would be the place to go for these?

Orange Model M ones from Unicomp?

About the misaligned dye sub thing - it seems that their equipment is rigged to dye entire sets at once (which is why their normal keyboard keys look fine), not individual keys. You should contact Chuck and ask him if he can do ~100 keys at once.

Just sent payment for 2 ALPS and 2 MX ( didn't follow the threads to the end ).
If there's no MX , please just send 2 ALPS only and put 2 Keycaps on credit towards future group buy, I'll cover the shipping cost for those at a later date.
Often outspoken, please forgive any cause for offense.
Thank you all in GH for reading.

Sadly, my post/pm must have gotten lost on the way, i was hoping to change my order to 4 cherry and one alps. Anyways, thanks a LOT iMav, these keys look awesome on my assorted boards.

Anyone in europe that has a spare alps key and would like to swap for a cherry, pm me.

They can do them, they just will not look very good. The problem is that Unicomp seems to lack the proper equipment for custom keys. They can do them, but somehow they always turn out very  faded and misaligned. If you do get existing legends from them its always very clear and perfect... not sure what the problem is.

Can't SP do Model M keys?

SP can't do IBM.

If you ask Unicomp nicely like SKCheng you can have Unicomp do a pretty good job.  But results will vary.

Now THIS is special.

Sad part is... those 3 keys are all what I consider good. You have obviously not seen the bad ones yet :D

Ask Unicomp to make a custom legend one. Results are horrible.

My theory about Unicomp, based off what skcheng said here

Their equipment is suited to dye sub an entire 101/104 key set at once, which is why their normal keycaps come out nice. However, it's poorly suited for doing single caps, which is why they come out misaligned.

If it's correct, if you order say 87 Esc caps from Unicomp (101-set minus extended keys) so they can populate the entire set, then they might get accurate printing.

I don't know. Ask Chuck.
