Found an amazing deal today, i bought a DELL MODEL M for 3$, in almost perfect condition with only dust on it, 1995 manufactured!

Local Goodwill :D

I'm in love with this keyboard!

Recorded me typing on it with my good microphone!

Nice job.
Well, IBM licensed thier keyboards to a few differnet companies, most prominantly Dell. But also Wang and Ambra.
IBM also let Compaq use the SDL connector on the Enhanced Keyboard II

HAHA, yes, with an extremely stable camera.
Nah, its just a picture.

I don't have another model m to compare the feeling of the keyboard to, but i can say that the dell model is a simplified model m.

For one, no detachable cable, and no removable keycaps, which some other model m's dont either.

Looks identical other than the three differences, none of which matter too much anyways.

I've never had a typing experience like this, ever.
I love how the switch actuation = the exact moment the switch is actuated to create a connection.

This is coming from an Apple Extended Keyboard II, that i also bought for $3, except it was $3.22 :P.
I have a couple rubber dome Dell Quietkeys that i used to use before the apple, and before that my laptop chichlet keyboard .
