That said, if you want to poke around and save money, should just buy from your local thrift shop/ garage sale. The low end mechanical keyboards that many GHers including me will give away for the cost of shipping, are really NOT worth typing on. Since I live in Singapore where space is at a premium and shipping anywhere is not cheap, I've preferred to throw my least favored things rather than offer people inferior stuff for expensive shipping cost.
In contrast, if you make it a point to check with your local e-recyclers you may get a real prize (anything heavy with metal badge IBM on it and makes a hell lot of noise is a prize; also pretty much any vintage keyboard with a metal casing, high keys and smoothly actuating keys has a high chance of being a high quality prize find).
