i love that the community is so big now that **** just vanishes.

you used to be able to track a cap where it was where it went.

now.... LOL sh!t never even appears.

I havent seen clacks move in a while

I'm trying man

Same. Plus, don't many gravitate towards the usual suspects?

Seems to be the case as far as I can tell.  I’d love to find even just a couple more one day

A few are usually listed for sale publicly every month, they're just mostly topre and you've gotta be ready to pay market value.

MX are rarely for sale, usually just up for trade for KBK/GAF/other clacks.

I've seen probably 30+ topre clacks listed for sale in 2019, but only 10 or so MX.

That's my perspective as a newer collector who isn't as connected

I've never seen a candy corn with such a shallow orange layer before. And judging from the shape it's a BS stem?

Nice one

They don't post them because random mans they've never talked to will hit them with the PM all like, "Hey think of me when you let it go, it is my grail cap. I been had pinch." but in fact they never been had pinch to start with.

Whaaaaaaat?!?  Looks great, and really cool to see those different shades of blue side by side.  Much more variation than I’d realized was there between those colours.

I was incredibly lucky to win my first clack one year ago today, an og tri on Christmas Eve. I had really only gotten into artisans a couple of months prior to that, so I definitely didn't grasp how crazy it was at the time.

After that I went deep down the rabbit hole, reading tons of old threads here. I came to appreciate the caps and the man behind them, and started to pick up as many as I could.

This thread has become one of my favorites, I can't stop coming back to look at all the awesome caps clickclack has put out over the past decade. Here are some holiday potatoes :)

You have some serious grails there.  Where on earth did you find a Vader !?!  I started around the same time as you did, though my start wasn't nearly as auspicious as an OG Tri :)  I find collecting Clacks (when you're not a tycoon) is punishing but also very rewarding.  If we weren't all enemies competitors, we might actually be friends :)

Mattp inspired me to share a few pictures of what I’ve been able to pick up this year since getting my first clack (pepto pink) during Clack Happens in the poster contest.  I have an mx hack orange on the way as well, but... the postal system is a wee bit backed up.

Beyond the group shot, I thought that I’d include a few of just the ogres since they don’t get as much love as I feel they deserve.

My apologies for the quality of the pictures.  None of them were taken with a high end camera or proper lighting equipment.  I did my best to colour-correct them but they’re not perfect.  The Ogre-only shots are closest.

Here’s to a good year, and hopefully an even better 2020!  Like everyone else, I’m very hopeful for a healthy return of the Clackman to increase the dwindling supply of these beautiful art pieces.

Nice! Thanks for sharing, those ogres are so sick. Pepto pink is also a hottie, reminds me of Bazooka Joe bubblegum.
