Hmm hard to say, but these two switches sounds a bit different even without modding as there is a gap between them.
The modification does not touch bottom housing from inside, as I built it with gsus pandas some walls might have a different thickness because of the cut (~0.35 mm)

Handle it through discord. Basically everyone I know who talked to 80 through discord got their spot refunded in full really quickly.

Thanks! I used a black squishy tool box liner by Con-Tact but I don't think they make it anymore. The good news is that there are a number of comparable products. It's good - but is it better than 3204 or 205g0? I dunno, it's more like shaving cream so it's harder to overlube. Jury is still out for me on 129. I have a bunch of it and I'm testing it actively.

I immediately managed to strip/round one of the small screws in the backplate, so incredibly soft  ) Will be trying to get it out with a screw extractor, so I can put in some sorbothane or liner inside to see the difference in sound.

I ended up having to drill the screw head off entirely and then getting the stump out with pliers. None of the other typical ways worked. Gotta be careful with these small screws, not tightening them too much with this allen key.

Many of them haven't been shipped yet. My white doro hasn't shipped either. I suspect, but don't know for sure, that perhaps 80 is waiting for corrected RGB pcbs to get produced before shipping the remainder out. But it could be that he just...hasn't yet.

Oldcat isn't the GB runner. He was just helping out a community member, 80ultraman on Discord, run his first GB. For any issues with shipping and quality, people should contact 80 via Discord. I received my ISO Doro a few days ago, it seams to work, the keymap is wrong on a key but that's no biggie.

The case was dirty, like someone with oily hands had messed with it and the bottom plate was horrible, dirty and some imperfections.

After cleaning the white color is spectacular, put Troubled Minds on it and it's

So, 2 months after the shipping was paid, and my board was marked aas shipped, aaaaaaaand... no board, no tracking code, only ghosting.
the paypal protection is expired so i can't even disputed this.

the total lacking of communication , the "let take vacation in the middle of the shipping proces and plate problem" incident, a dosen of my e-mails that was ignored. that just smell like a scam to be honest.

i hold up because i really loved 80's design, even with that fault, and i know that delays some times are unpredictable and it is in the nature of the gb it self, but boy, this lacking of any response it's shade as hell

i just want my money back.

80Ultraman has gone completely silent.  He has not communicated with anyone that is apart of the GB since May 27th.  There are still many, many people (maybe as many as 1/3) who have not received their keyboards yet (its been about 3 months since the first Doros shipped).  There are also many people with Doros that have QC issues that have not been addressed.  If anyone is affected then join us in the discord, we are trying to figure out next steps.
