So I have been fiddling with the idea of getting one for quite a while. Finally, last week I ordered one from Amazon. I have a problem. When I pick up a hobby, it's go big or go home. So I decided to test the waters with a cheap $65 full board (because I need the number pad). It has lights!
I got there mk on Monday, and on Tuesday, I already ordered my first decent board. A Saber68. I also picked up a mechanical number pad from Amazon.
The only downside to this is that the board comes preassembled. I like to tinker, and would have loved to build and program it. Ah well, ill do that on board #3 I guess.
Now I'm on the hunt for keycaps. I love the look of SA and DSA. Sadly, they're a bit to expensive (for now). On my current agenda is to find 2 things. A JTK Royal purple keyset, and a Flux Keypacitor (I'm a huge BTTF fan).
