You can mock me all you want but I still like my girly keyboard  ;D

I have more of them though. That's why I went nuts with one of them. But I won't touch my old Alps keyboard in the Dell body named "Project" with its Damped White Alps!

You can do whatever pleases you. :)  We all have different aesthetics taste, wouldn't it be boring otherwise? ;)

I still use my Realforce 87U 55g at work and I really really like it. Perfect work keyboard for me. (would love to use a SSK or Kishsaver, but those are too loud for the environment I work in, even with flossmod).

A thoroughly boring Monoprice board. It makes clicky noises and types words. It does not do shiny lights or fancy macros or dance or make waffles. It just sits on the desk and stares at me. Judging me.

I have also modified its Black Alps to White Alps by replacing the tactile leafs from a Matias Tactile Pro keyboard into the Dell. Result? Even more tactile than White Alps as they require a bit more force to activate. It's a joy to type on. Original blue keycaps on it and the rest is from an old Apple M2980 keyboard that I have harvested keycaps from.

I like this. Both the aesthetics and the modified switches :).

Seeing as this was a joke and wasn't in any way involved with you, it's extremely evident who is insecure here.

Model M, very buckle, much spring.  So clicky.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

HHKB. I'm hoping to get a 55g RF soon, and possibly dome-swapping (or not depending on whether I like the feel or not) and then leaving the half-n-half RF to put out when I have guests so that I don't scare them with the blank HHKB  :p

I was out for a week in Portugal with the girlfriend. No keyboards for me over there! I just came back today to my Novatouch. Damn I must say I missed the Topre feeling! I'm looking forward to the day I'll silence mod it to know how it feels without the rattling stabs.

I'm typing on my Realforce 55g right now, and it is really one of my favorite keyboards to use. It even feels better than my HHKB to use most of the time, but I am a huge sucker for the HHKB layout still. I haven't tried a dome swap. I'm just to afraid to hurt my precious Realforce.

This is my next keyboard. I've fallen for Topre and hear good things about the 55g RF so as soon as EK gets them in stock, i'm ordering that. For now, I'm thoroughly enjoying my modded HHKB at work.

Just switched back to QFR with MX blacks (from a Model M).

I was getting too many sidelong glances from everyone else with all the clicking.

Indeed. I've bought a Das with brown switches and hope it doesn't get destroyed in transit, and will hopefully be buying a Model M 1391401 today.

Edit: woopwoop. And yes, the image is very blurry. Manufacture date was 9 January 1991. This thing is older than I am.

Just started using my new KBP v60 Matias Quiet Click. I think I will require some time with this one. It certainly doesn't have the same (pleasant) "box of legos" feel as my Matias Mini Tactile Click keyboard, but I like the crispness.

I opted for ESC as the bare-press for the upper left. I am sort of conflicted on that. ESC comes up so often, especially with VIM use, but in Linux I type ~ a lot also, which is kind of a vulcan nerve pinch now; I put Fn in the Caps Lock position. I will have to learn to use both Fn keys to get the most out of the layout I think.

Nice little keyboard, I certainly like it as much as my HHKB Lite. We'll see if these Matias quiet loosen up a little and let their tactile bump express itself itself.

I'm using my Ducky Mini with whites at home at the moment, but I'm going to swap it out soon, I'm not sure I like whites all that much.

But I'm torn between changing to my V60 Mini with Greens (which I STILL haven't put in it's aluminium case yet) or my Model M. I haven't used my M for longer than like 30 minutes, so I might have to use that for a while to see how much I like it.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Back to the HHKB as my main drivers since the other board will be soon off for repairs! Now I wait for my outbreak cap, so I can have a cap for FN.

WASD v2 with Cherry MX Clear, Vortex PBT doubleshot key caps, and a red SA Esc keycap. I have an identical one at work. That one is lightly lubricated; this one is not. I wish it were!

Camera is a Nikon D7000.

WASD Code with Clears with white doubleshots with blue legends. It's kind of shiny.

Wow. That is an awesome set up. Like seriously awesome.

Those turny things (cant remember the name) in the middle are awesome.

I'm very jealous.
