don't know why, but i so dig that combination. the RF87U that i have, has a black case with the white/grey keycap set as well, and it looks totally sweet!
I will probably switch the keycaps, however. (whenever matt3o's set is available!)

though.. black caps with white case (stormtrooper) looks pretty atrocious to me :'(

i wanted to do a dome-swap at first, but just couldn't get myself to remove them. they looked to neat and perfect, i didn't want to mess with that harmony

1) Filco with Gateron Blacks feels hard. keycaps are PBT though so it may be part of the reason. It feels cold and hard, debounces quicker but also due to different force slope on those switches it's actually easier to bottom out. They're also a bit scratchier.
4) Topre 55G feels almost impossible to press, so heavy. Possibly due to all resistance being on top. After overcoming this initial resistance it crashes my fingers on bottom. I can feel this is where my RSI pains are coming from. Hard bottoming out on the plate of RealForce I doubt I will be able to use this keyboard in near future. After typing one minute speedtest, pain in my fingers was already killing me. I do appreciate its low profile, super nice keycaps (I've got the PBT spacebar for it), thock and super smooth key action, but still. It hurts me

i know what you mean!
i haven't used my Cherry Reds (plate-mounted) for many months because of this. that harsh bottom-out is a real annoyance to my fingers.
i suppose every switch causes this to some extend, but some are obviously worse than others.

My KBParadise V60MTS-Q just came in, and I'm loving it so far. My WPM has instantly jumped up about 10 and typing on this thing is a breeze!  Super happy with these Matias Quiet Clicks. Great tactical feedback compared to my MX Browns! I would highly recommend this board to anyone looking for a new board. This is my first 60% board, and I thought it would take some time to adjust to the smaller layout, but for me, it was an extremely smooth transition. Typing is way more comfortable for me surprisingly. I don't feel like I'm struggling to re-find the home row when I have to hit backspace, as there's a lot less on the board. Love it!

Hmmm guess it depends on what other boards you use - the RF 87u is the only thing that doesn't have an HHKB layout that I regularly use
Just wish Hasu had an alternate controller for it already so I could change the layout

Ducky Shine 3 TKL with MX Reds and Hack'd by Geeks Keyset.  Very nice for typing and not bad for gaming considering the SA profile.  Probably will switch the keyset to another board so I can take advantage of the White LEDs on my Ducky Shine.  Hack'd by Geeks does look great when the spacebars RGB LED is orange Sorry for iphone pic...

Currently on a Realforce 87U 45g with some Keykollectiv mods, rustler bro, Matt3o spacebars, Katz fn keys, blank red keys and HKP warmaster. (pexon cables on the way!)

I tried every topre keyboard available on my trip to EliteKeyboards store. I definetily like the feel of the 45g vs 55g. The HHKB rocks as well but I couldn't figure out the layout, maybe down the road. Pretty happy with my new baby

Going hard on my Model F. It honestly gets better and better the more I use it. There is *nothing* quite like slamming keys on an all-metal case capacitive buckling spring. First keyboard that can rage back at you if you slam your fist on it in frustration.

Well currently I'm using an A.87 with 59g ergo clears.

At school I use my Poker 2 with browns.

My poor Ducky Shine 3 has been sitting in a corner for the past week or so. I'm wondering if I should sell it or not. Kind of want to keep it just because it was my first mechanical keyboard though!
