Been waiting on JTK Soph. keycaps for some time to throw on this, but here are a couple of other sets I've thrown on as well. The Hana set just came in today and I'm not tooo terribly impressed with the quality of the caps (spacing issues) but the colors do look very soft and easy on the eyes.

I'm using a QuickFire Rapid at the moment, MX Browns, stock caps

It's a really boring keyboard but it works fine, and I'm only going to be using it until I finally finish restoring all of my Alps boards

Currently I am trying to decide whether I like the Pok3r or Leopold FC750R more. The smaller footprint of the Pok3r is nice. The main thing is the learning curve because i didn't realize how often I use the arrow keys until I started using the Pok3r.

Will be giving the Pok3r a few more days at least. But I really like the build. Quality is solid. I swapped out the keycaps immediately so no comment of the durability of the legend.

Just had my HKKB2 s-type arrive and fell in love, and now that i've signed up here it looks like I'll be getting more keyboards lol. This HKKB plugs right into my Note 7 and I can mash out notes in public. I love it!  :p

Gorgeous, can't wait for your review. I really wish Deck's aesthetic was less inspired by someone being high and playing quake but they're still one of my favorites of all time.

I bought a Pok3r and started using it at work today.  Given I have been using an HHKB Pro 2 for about a month, I expected a hellish experience.

I was wrong as the Pok3r has some things going over a stock HHKB.  The Pok3r frame feels solid, and it sticks great on my slippery work desk.  I am also liking the programmability of it, and the 3 programmable layers offer some interesting possibilities.

On the downside, the Backspace key rattles quite a bit, the keycaps arent as nice to the touch as the HHKB, and MX cherry clears /= or even close to the feel of HHKB topre.

But all in all, not a bad alternative in a pinch, one I can make better with some work (new caps and maybe having a look at the stabs).

A Leading Edge SKM-1030 with inverse cross futaba clicky switches.

The keycaps are unusual in that they are neither ABS nor PBT - they have a slippery texture but do not yellow.

Could they be POM? How did you figure they weren't ABS or PBT?

I figured they are not ABS as they haven't yellowed. I have another identical board whose case is yellow but keycaps pristine.

They don't seem like PBT as the original texture is.. somewhat slippery. Not slippery like worn ABS but a more pleasant feel. The keycaps are also very thin.

Is there a way to distinguish between PBT and POM?

It's really not. Took out my MBP for school after having not used it for a couple of years, and was surprised at how quickly I adapted to the switches again.

POM is slippery/shiny from the get-go, and even thicker than PBT.

They are originally slippery but quite thin - much thinner than the PBT caps on my M2. They are neither doubleshot nor pad printed. They are also resistant to acetone.

I have used some PBT caps that had such little texturing that they felt slippery. If this is POM though, that would be pretty interesting

Been practicing on the KMAC. The more I use it the more I dislike it. It's okay to use once in a while just to switch things up from tactile switches but meh. Only using it because I can theoretically type faster on it.

Also because of these laser infilled POM novelty caps, I'm paranoid they'll start to wear and I don't want that to happen. This keyboard's supposed to just look pretty after all.

New desk setup

Nice MIC :D

I've had mine for a few weeks now. Isn't it fantastic?

My only complaint is this Neweer MIC boom stand. These things take up too much real estate :D

pretty nice, I was actually looking at getting one of those booms  but now you make me reconsider  I might get a boom arm for it instead.

Just got my Leopold FC660M today, and I love it. Just like my 750R but in a better size. I put front printed Leopold keycaps on because I doubt the pad printing will last on the stock ones. Why not make them dye sub like the FC660C?

Speaking of which, tempted to get a FC660C sometime. Having owned a RF 87U for a bit I know the feel isn't for me for gaming. But wouldn't mind swapping it in sometimes for other use.

Also, the stabilizers are just as solid as I wanted. Unlike the Pok3r Arabs which were very loose and rattled like crazy. Really the only reason I decided to try the 660M

What switch type did you get with the FC660M?  I've been looking for one with clears at mk.com and other places, but damned if I can find one.
RF87U 55g (damaged)  |  AV3 w/POM Plate  |  Thermal (to be built)  |  ID80v1 (to be rebuilt)  |  Tokyo60

I don't think the FC660M comes with clears... I really want one too but unable to find it :-(

Yea. I just got one with Reds. Ordered from widebasket on eBay because MK.com only had the black version. But I like the white so much more.

It appears the FC660M with clears does exist. There has been a massdrop with that config. Seems to be available here too: http://www.banggood.com/Leopold-fc660m-Cherry-Clear-Switch-66keys-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-p-960256.html

I have never ordered from them, but as far as I know they're legit.

Hoping to have a white/grey FC660C on the way very soon. I just love the layout. Don't think I'll be going back to TKL.
