where did you have those plates cut?  That looks really nice ! Well done
Plates were cut by Big Blue Saw.  I was not entirely thrilled with them and they needed a lot of finish and fitment work, including one unfortunate teardown & rebuild.  Turned out OK though.  Thanks.

I only snapped a few pics with my phone.  These were mainly to show off the RAMA CNC cap.

you need another board to fill those caps!

It'd sink about three of my AT101 sets on it for sure, haha.

Pretty sure it's Cherry only.

Damn, okay. Thanks! Maybe I was thinking of something else.

If you're going for a nautical theme & it's as big as a raft, how about "Kon-Tiki"?

By that you mean the 96 key version right? (RS96)

I think Originative teased that they will be getting some in stock in the near future (it seems they are just straight up getting stock and not organising a GB, but you can probably find out more information by emailing them and ask directly

Holy FART! That's a monster slab o' metal! If its dimensions were 1:4:9 you could call it The Monolith. I want to see a closeup of the LEDs in the upper corner. Very HAL9000 or Dillinger's light-up MCP desk from Tron.

I'd forgotten how loud these can be :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I was thinking of getting a KBP V80 with Matias Quiet Click. Is it very tactile compared to Matias Clicky? If I can't get my hands on a TEX Yoda (1st gen if someone is ever selling one or 2nd gen whenever Justin releases it) then I'll probably settle on the Mini Quiet Pro.

I was thinking of getting a KBP V80 with Matias Quiet Click. Is it very tactile compared to Matias Clicky? If I can't get my hands on a TEX Yoda (1st gen if someone is ever selling one or 2nd gen whenever Justin releases it this month) then I'll probably settle on the Mini Quiet Pro.

i haven't tried matias click switches before, but quiet clicks are definitely both more tactile and quieter than mx browns. i think they're probably my favorite switches for general typing. the only possible complaint i have is that i heard the qc for matias switches isn't so great. i've owned a kbp v60 with matias quiet clicks and two matias mini quiet pro and all three had some issue or another.

the kbp v60 had sporadic key chattering in multiple keys (but i've seen many reports for that particular board regardless of switches).
both my matias mini quiet pros had some issue with a single switch in the arrow cluster. both had issues where the keypresses sometimes would not register (or would register, but if you were holding the key then at some point it will just stop registering).

i returned my first mini quiet pro (down arrow frequently didn't work), and kept the second. the right arrow key occasionally doesn't register in the keyboard i kept, but it's infrequent enough that i'm okay with it. i mainly got it because it's quiet (neither browns nor clears are quiet imo), smaller than tkl/sort of 75% layout, and i personally find it ugly enough that i feel pretty comfortable leaving it in the office (someone stole my coworker's apple magic keyboard a while back).

Currently using the Corsair K95, but on the hunt for my next keyboard, now that I have this one for gaming and for AutoCad (those macros speed things up a lot!), I am looking at getting a filco majestouch 2 (104 key) for the more productivity half of me  :p still have not decided but I know that I cannot keep the macros in the way of the papers that I am using with the work that I do as well as I am not able to ditch the number pad with the work that I do. I will get a better photo up at some point but I thought that I would at-least get one picture out today :p

I'm currently giving a magicforce 68 w/ gateron browns a try. My wife claimed my ducky 1087 overclock.net edition w/blues for her office. I also have a Logitech G710+ w/ cherry browns that I use fro time to time. Mostly I use that one at night because it's pretty quiet.
