Oh! So, normally I use the LSZH bulk cable and attach USB-A and Mini-B ends on. For angled ends and ends that are non usb, I actually get a half cable made, so they come with hoods, from 'shuttle' cables since they have much better shielding compared to just buying a micro USB cable and cutting an end off. That's why the cost is a bit more

It'd be amazing if you posted a tutorial on how to make cables/where to get supplies/etc. It actually seems like it would be fun and interesting. Of course then you wouldn't have this little business going so I understand why you wouldn't.

Actually, I am going post up a tutorial along with DIY kits. I'll try and get that up within the next few weeks when I catch up on cables.

yea and i just found out that the kones in the woofers of the KRK Rokit 5 R2's that I installed at a friends are made of it also. Kinda wish i had them now to match besides the fact that they sound better than my M-Audio BX5A v2's

I see the 2 piece cable from the first post uses a generic connector.

Would it be possible to get it made with the standard mini USB? I guess it would almost be two cables at that point. A standard mini USB cable and a small cable with a filco pcb connector to a female mini USB.

Is this a possibility?

asked about it the one in the beginning post isnt a generic connector but a very good connector once he finished my two for my phantoms ill do a review

I didn't mean generic in a bad way. I'm sure the quality is fine. I just meant that it's not a standard USB connector.

I like removable cables on my keyboards and if the two mating connectors were USB then this would essentially be an easy way to convert a Filco into removable cable board.

I dont think a sturdy mini b female connector is available is the problem but ill let mistakemistake weigh in on this

Friendly suggestion: the OP is really long and hard to scroll through. It would be much easier to browse if you gave your images smaller, fixed heights. For example:
