British racing green is an iconic colour from the world of automotive sport. Dating back almost 120 years, the colour has been used by Jaguar, Aston Martin, Mini, Lotus and Bentley. After spending a while playing with colours, I settled on RAL 6005, RAL 1001 and GMK's WS1 as the perfect combination for a balanced set within the theme.

The base kit has been designed to be inclusive, providing full coverage for 7U/6.25u bottom rows as well as complete UK ISO and numpad support. In addition, I have put together an Exotic kit which provides coverage for some favourite 40s layout, as well as that precious Alice-layout second B key.

I had asked in the Discord and was told that R2 1.75 Backspace is in the exotic kit, but that the renders would be updated soon. That was 4 days ago. It's a classic Soon^tm I guess.

Yeah I had to order the Exotic Kit to fit my keyboard...Wish they would include more 1u modifiers in a base kit, especially since GMK is already so expensive.

Hey! The renders have just been updated to reflect the kitting that was requested from GMK. This includes the same ISO coverage as base kit in the racing green kit! Unfortunately, I seem to have missed the @` key when sending off for a quote. At this late stage, I'll see what I can do and I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on the situation.

The new renders have added 1.75u R2 backspace to the Exotic Kit as well as an ISO R1 `, 2, 3 and |\, an R3 ~# and an R4 |\ to the Racing Green Kit.

This is fantastic news, hopefully you can get the additional @ key added to both as I order both. Thank you for the update. Personally I would be prepared to offer a little more to make sure we get the @ keys, without then the set is a little ruined.

Damn you're right. I hadn't noticed there's no mod tilde in the base kit. That ruins the symmetry for me. And it makes my decision to pass on this set easier. Too bad as I really like it otherwise.

I simply don't understand how a designer can leave those 2 keys out of the base kit.

Production hasn't even started, the set is still sitting in queue. Lewis hasn't reported back with any color samples so I don't think color matching has started either.

The sets that are currently being shipped out by GMK ran in mid to late 2020 so it will probably be a while.

If you join the MYKB discord you’ll see they stopped paying their invoices to GMK so GMK obviously stopped shipping them sets. They’re in the process of getting these paid and catching up
