I dont have an actual key cap remover, ive managed to remove the single keys but the left shift seems tricky, is there special instructions on how to do it?

Those have cherry stabilizers so u have nothing to worry about just get a key puller or 2 an pull strait up should pop off easy enough, might be able to do it by hand if you have all the othe keys off.
