Luckily, IMSTO sold a few spare sets and I was able to snatch one up. It arrived today:

Has anyone gotten their short shift? imsto was quick to reply to my first email saying "yes may send it with onkybthe shipping cost."

But thats all they said, no instructions, no PP invoice... I replied to that email, which was a different chinese mail address (ie. 1234@qq.com), as well as forwarded it to sales@imsto.cn telling them to invoice me or give an email to pay shipping cost.

Been over a week

The first interaction went well. I emailed him for an invoice. Then pm'ed him on gh.

Still no response on gh or my email.

This was about a week ago.

Any know whats going on?

Im mostly just trying to get a missing "2@" key from my regular printed set plus an extra 6u spacebar.

When I pm'd imsto about the 1.75 shift he said to email it to that address. After all email orders are in he'd ship them out all at once.
Haven't heard from him since so no clue when he'll actually ship them out.

I've also received a blank set (from another GH-er), and have most of it figured out. Except the arrow keys. I think the Up arrow uses D profile (QWERTY row), and the other 3 B (ZXCVB row) (source http://deskthority.net/wiki/Keyboard_profile#Numbering), is this correct?

I thought I'll regret going for blanks, but hell no, they look superb on my black unbranded QFR. Love the profile too, a slight but noticeable change from OEM.

The 7u spacebar won't fit without having to modify the stems either. I've measured my OG Desko spacebar to compare: 117.3 vs 118mm. This is quite a big difference, and the stabilizers are turned inwards under heavy stress after just pressing it down firmly. I've tried to cut out the sides of the stabilizer mounts, to no avail.

Unfortunately, I don't have any epoxy either..

The bottom two rows are the same profile. All four arrow keys should be ZXCVB row profile.

Do you have any other MX sets to measure? Is 0.7mm really enough to throw it off? I suppose this is why they don't often make 7u spacebars with PBT.

Yeah. Checked and my 7u spacebars dont work. They squeeze the cherry stabs together so hard that pressing down on the spacebar just causes it to stop half way down and stick there.

Please ignore the loose stabs, these are the mutilated pair I've used. Its obviously the same with normal/default stabs.

This shouldn't affect Costar since the plastic inserts aren't directly attached to the stabilizer mount, just the wire.

I would assume not, as costar stabilizers have a little bit looser tolerances, but you would need to try it out to be sure. I don't have any MX boards that use a 7U spacebar, so I can't test myself.

That stinks about the 7x spacebar, haven't tried to fit mine on my KMAC, but now I'm a little scared to try in fear of breaking something. I did a little investigating and came across a post from calavera that shows what looks to be a 7x spacebar fitting and seemingly working fine here.

Seems like it might just be some bad luck for few people. Large key like spacebar is more difficult, which why many don't make them. It rely on the shrinkage being just right. Not enough shrinkage, or too much shrinkage and the stem don't align properly.

Hopefully before PBT Dark second wave ships, otherwise I paid 10$ more to wait longer and for less keycaps. Am a bit salty about IMSTO selling extra sets when the GB sets weren't fulfilled also.

That's kind of the problem here. I'd need to know roughly when the caps would arrive to tell you where to send them. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit: Maybe the easiest way is to sell the set to someone who missed the gb. how would that be handled? (It's a black on black set by the way. I paid 94,64$ for it if someone's interested)
