Title: LED Color Caps?
Post by: Blackehart on Mon, 21 April 2014, 13:13:12
A while back I saw some plastic doohickeys that went on top of the led bulb to change the glow color.
It looked like a little plastic-ish clamp that covered the led but didn't interfere with the key bottoming out.

Does anyone know what these are called?

oops!

I see there have been group buys for these before.

Thanks!

EDIT: I don't suppose you can get these stateside? 120.00 shipping is a little nuts.

Looks like you found your answer; LED color changers. They were also sold on massdrop.com

Need to solder LED into switches?

Only if you do not already have them fitted, and only if the PCB supports them.

Most non-backlit keyboards do not have provision for adding LEDs.

Maybe someone more familiar with that Pure could respond.

Or, just get a backlit keyboard up front.
