Far from confirmation, I feel like ducky would use that as a selling point if it was true..

All I can say is that the Blues feel more like Greens. Even when I swapped out the thick PBT, it felt quite heavy compared to my very frequently used TK.

I really don't think lube would make blues feel like greens and just because switches feel smooth to one person doesn't mean ducky lubed anything lol

lube makes a switch feel heavier now?
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

Wouldn't it be the other way around - lubing green switches would make them smoother and perhaps a little more like blues?

Unless it was a really thick heavy lube that dampened the blue to make it feel like a green?

SSK at the moment and all I have to say is meh.

My Filco will be going back on the desk, don't think buckling spring is my thing really.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Unless BS really aren't your thing, this could be a SSK in dire need of a bolt mod.

I have two Model M, one is firm and consistent, the other one feels loose and inconsistent across the board.

The loose one I know has lost at least a dozen plastic rivet heads, so that one needs a bolt mod.

The other one there is nothing rattling, and I haven't needed to take it apart, but I'm guessing that the plastic rivets are still holding it well.

They are actually black :P , my monitor reflected off the keycaps. I spent a good month deciding if I wanted the blue or black legends, and I decided black because I didn't want two shades of blue.

Just got a Filco Majestouch 2 with reds today! It's my fourth mech, but my first Filco. I really like the solid feel of the board, however, I can't stand the reds for typing. I'm just gonna use it for gaming.  :-*

Using my filco, this is pretty much my daily keyboard. I give the vortex case a 8.5 out of 10, it has some flaws but nothing that wasn't a big problem.

Mini review because why not:
The only cons were I needed to remove the plastic LED standoffs and just straight solder the leds to get the top piece to fit, there is some very slight signs of CNC milling near the esc key and a tiny inconsistency in the anodizing near the spacebar(both of which are only visible from under 3 inches away I would say). Design wise I think its great, the stock angle without the feet is perfect for me, only downside to their design is the somewhat large gap between the top on bottom case but it doesn't bother me one bit.

Overall it's great, if I was okay with a grey color I would probably just bought a KMAC but the thought (and cost) of getting a KMAC and then hunting down a place to reanodize it blue wasn't the most fun sounding thing to me.

My dream board is almost done. It's a custom Topre I've been working on for almost 3 years and it's full of win. Pictures to follow soon.

I feel bad that I still have other "responsibilities" I have to finish up before I start posting this stuff. Gotta get my priorities in line.

Regarding the Topre board, I've learned quite a bit about several of the boards construction in the process. You really have to admire how well the Realforce TKL's were built.

Using my filco, this is pretty much my daily keyboard. I give the vortex case a 8.5 out of 10, it has some flaws but nothing that wasn't a big problem.

Mini review because why not:

I think it looks amazing! I absolutely love the color! I would grab one for the looks but the small drawbacks you mentioned would kill me inside slowly :( looks great tho.

My dream board is almost done. It's a custom Topre I've been working on for almost 3 years and it's full of win. Pictures to follow soon.

O_o wut dis. I shall look forward to this with great anticipation!

Been using my Max Keyboard Nighthawk X8, MX Browns, Purple LEDs with a custom white painted top. Probably my favorite, consistent keyboard.

You like browns more than ergo clears?
I don't use my ergo clear board because it was shipped with a broken ESC switch. Didn't get a response from the shipper to fix it and haven't followed up since.

That's a shame...What's so special about clears and ergo clears?
I heard that the WASD code was quickly sold out in clears because it was so rare or something? Like what are clears similar to?

Currently using a DS3 YOTS in blues...looking to get a RF 87U 55G, I hope that it's a bit more heavy in force required than blues.

Clears are very tactile and not clicky.  Kind of like MX Green without the click, or MX Browns with more tactility and a heavier spring.  If you have some Blacks and Browns you can make kind of like a ghetto Clear.
Gotta collect them all
