This has grown on me the more times I look at it. I have not went in on quite a few of the recent GMK sets as I just think they are rinse and repeating. Weirdly (given the colour pallet) I think this is quite unique. Interested to see what the RAMA cap will be. I am tempted, especially with UK ISO catered for.

The desk mats look high quality. Good stitching, it seems. I know some folks like the current design, but are you still considering another design, one less dramatic and such? I know some like this one so to each their own, no offense meant.

Also, yes, I am in the process of designing a less...tragic deskmat design. I should have it done by someone in a few days to a week. As I said previously it will follow the same design but be of the moons surface with a lander, etc.

I find the way you split the set into Modules very clever: On the one hand, looking at the Command Module, the majority of ANSI users won't have to pay the "ISO tax"

. On the other hand, with ISO and numpad in the Telemetry Module combined, this extra kit is much more likely to reach MOQ, as opposed to a lonely ISO kit. AFAIK we are talking MOQ=100 here for the extra kit! Clever, this should work out fine, I am curious how this develops. (In my short time here at geekhack, I have not encountered this kind of split before.)

As for the RAMA cap, a design has been met and renders are here, just wanting to get revised renders with glow in the dark infill, stay tuned for that.

Hey all, just wanted to keep you all in the loop with what's happening.
I decided to make a few tweaks here and there taking into account the feedback from you guys.

Changes:

Added a 'B' key to the base kit to support Alice users
Revised the Saturn V novelty, removing the flame so it's thicker and less like a pen

Updates:

Final RAMA cap renders should come in soon!
A second deskmat design is also in the works
Arranging some collabs to take place
Finalising GB date

Im new to customs and planning to build my first own with the e8.5 GB.
I have no problem converting to the general ANSI layout but i do need the ü, ö, ä keys unfortunately as im german.
Is there any known work around for that?

imo I actually prefer it without the visor extended, but that’s just me. I’d 100% buy the current design with glow in the dark, do you know how much each cap would cost?
