Custom wood case for ISO keyboard (CNC user)
« on: Wed, 21 February 2024, 06:45:44 »
Hi and thanks for your time!

I'm new in this world of custom keyboards, i have a 60% TKL keyboard and i see not's for me, i need the alphanumeric i go crazy when i make bills for my work without it and the ISO enter (my finger and brain doesn't like it i miss click to many times).

I'm a cnc user, i have a good cnc for woodwork and i want to make a wood base and maybe a plate of bronze/aluminum.

Anyone know a afordable pcb iso or full keyboard kit with plans for make my own wood case (F1-F10 keys not necesary if have a function key, with hotswap i don't want to solder).

I find this one YMDK 96 iso but i don't know the quality of this (i have gateron switches and keycaps i need pcb, foams and plate).

Thanks for your time.

What about the XD96? It has function keys and requires soldering however. I know you said you didn't want to solder, but it isn't too hard especially with the longer Mill Max sockets.
