Another restored Model M SSK...!

Another one rescued and some more purdy pictures. Pretty certain this got coffee spilled on it a long time ago and then was forgotten about.
(Best viewed while listening to PSY - Gangnam Style. Just because. :P)

Looks good. Does that steel plate rust often? If so, wouldn't it be a good idea to clear coat it or something. It shouldn't be difficult at all.

It's been coated with "the only product available to the public that meets the US Navy's tough new corrosion prevention and control performance requirement", CorrosionX. Incredible stuff. :D

I do paint the plate if it's really bad or I just feel like it, but there's really just something awesome looking about bare steel.
