Lately I've been shopping locally, so I'll put my pics in the (Thread about what you got in the mail today) with a N.B. that it wasn't actually in the mail.

I visited a FLGS and a pencil shop that was next door and picked these up.

This. I drank some water last night from my Pur pitcher and the stuff tasted so much better than any bottled water I've had.

This. I drank some water last night from my Pur pitcher and the stuff tasted so much better than any bottled water I've had.

I tried something similar and the water still tastes terrible...

City water is so bad.

I mean i have an Reverse Osmosis filter but its very slow at filtering water.

So what water filter do I get? Those fancy reverse osmosis systems are so expensive. It seems cheaper for me to refill gallon jugs of water at the store.

I have one that's activated by a smart switch. However it is quite slow.

Went to a local watch shop with intention to snag the Orient Mako 3 watch to be used as my daily driver, I liked the color combo and that it has Sapphire crystal instead of mineral glass. I was surprised that sapphire crystal was used for a relatively budget watch like this.

While I was there, they were having a promotion of Ball watches, and the Bicentennial caught my eyes, so I snagged it as well.....a not so budget impulse buy.

Both watches, the orient will be more or less used as often as possible, the Ball and my other automatic watches will go on rotation....a few hours each day for each.

Actually, I just found out that the Orient I'd gotten isn't the Mako 3 (which has mineral glass), it's actually called Kamasu (Barracuda), hence sapphire crystal instead of mineral glass (and some minor differences from the Mako 3).

Edit - Not a rubber strap fan, but I'm trying out the supplied strap from Ball......

Yes, I'm that skinny and small boned to boot....
