I feel like the wild ones probably make bad pets.

I agree with csmertx. Looks like a rat snake. And unlike what TP posted, these guys don't go for $200. Maybe $20 unless it's a morph (rare/different coloration). Odds are a wild snake is not a morph though.

I only had $12 that day at the pet store, it was only enough for a few gold fish, or mice..
There were no sneks in the store under $200
