If you want light key touch - Cherry G80-3000
If you want to bang the keys - IBM Model M
I like both and own them.

I don't know if we're in the minority, but I also prefer full sized keyboards. I do have a TKL, actually typing on it now (Ducky G2Pro PBT Blue). However, my top 2 keyboards are full size:

IBM Model M
Topre Realforce 105UB

I think I'll also add the SGI Bigfoot/Granite, at least when it's not yellowed to a sickly green. :p

That issue aside, it's a very well-built keyboard with a neat aesthetic.  Also the PBT key caps are great and the Cream/White Damped Alps switches they come with aren't half-bad either.
Current drivers: IBM Model M SSK

Honestly, I think that this one beats out my favorite tricked-out 1390131 in the "standard-layout" category.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

my experience is limited to what I've owned + only a few others, but my Code with Clears is very nicely built.  Would love an aluminum case for it though.  Also would like to try a Filco some day.

I have always loved the Focus FK-2001. Its look, its layout, the switches (as long as they're Alps)... it's just a great board overall.

My current favorite full size keyboard is my Unicomp Model M for Mac - the buckling spring switches are sublime, and there is no ping, unlike my IBM Model M with silver label - that beauty is my king of ping.

For when I want something quieter, I'd love to get my hands on an ANSI Realforce 104 that's uniform 55-g. For now when I want quiet, I have my KBParadise Matias Quiet Click TKL, as well as my RF 87U and HHKB Pro JP, so I can't complain.

That I own right now? My 1800 with Leeku PCB.

That I haven't typed on? The Lightsaver. Gotta love that layout, it's so awesome.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Yeah, that's a good one. That keyboard just feels and looks right, even if it's not the most well-built one.

I'd really like a RealForce 105 I think, but they're way too expensive and Topre won't give me one to review xD . Bunch of *******s :p .

Best Full-sized Thorpie ever made thus far, a real pleasure to use and admire daily.

Still love all the Filco models as well, due to all of them being PS/2 connectable.  Everything else these days depends upon that usb abortion socket for connecting, just not right if you're looking for REAL NKRO in a keyboard.

Suppose they are the only two current manufacturers of keyboards providing a decent experience when it comes to typing out anything on your PCs.

I think so too. You may not like variable force with your typing style, but who knows.
If you're unsure, please talk to Keyboardco. When buying online in EU you have a right to return the product without any reason within 2 weeks from purchase date.
Not many know about that and it seems like a great way to test drive Topre.

Might have to look into that :) .

EDIT: that'd be ironic as well, considering I asked them for one to review and they didn't give me one xD .
