He sent me message yesterday, so it seems he is still alive. Hope did not get into winter hibernation again, but woke up for real and tell me how many switches to send and also pay for them ...

sent you a pm about the rest of the switches

Is it possible at all to change my order of red switches to brown or clear?
sure clears would be easiest to switch to i think?

Don't worry about it  Order is sent, no sense in rocking the boat.  Thanks, though.

They haven't even been ordered yet.  I'm not sure why, but it's going to be a while before they are shipped.

This buy is overly slow. Most buys go quicker, sadly.

I only ordered 2 sets of 7x stabilizer kits. How is shipping for these going to be handled? Is WFD making the wires so that these can actually be included with the PCB and Plate shipment or are these going to go out separately? I'm trying to sell my Phantom sets since I need to move on from mechanical keyboards and this is a little detail that I would like to get resolved as quickly as possible. The invoice I paid didn't include a shipping charge so I just need to get some clarification.

Thanks

I'll try to pick up his slack on the cherry stabilizers since he gets those from me anyways. But if you ordered switches or a keyboard from him, that's out of my control. PCBs are out of my control as well, I'm sure bavman will update you guys once he receives them.

Not sure why Prof left this GB dormant for so long.

I only ordered the stabs from him but I thought you were going to be making them from some of the information that had come out earlier in the GB. Ideally the stabs I ordered can be shipped with the plates to bavman so the PCBs, Plates and Stabs can all go out as one package.

I keep trying to get him to be a bit more active on GH, but he's not budging. I have a copy of the spread sheet, so when parts do come in to him (if worse comes to worse) I can take over, though this buy looks a lot like R4, currently.

I was concerned with how aggressive he was trying to make himself part of the Phantom GB from the start. The current situation is exactly why I had concerns. This isn't the first time this has happened with him either. He previously had a subforum and offered some services and got too busy to deal with them. He had caps lock keys that needed to be modded for quite a few months and other members got quite upset. Sorry Prof but you need to recognize what your limitations are and not exceed them. Communicate with the members here in this thread that have paid you money, myself included.

Anytime I've ever PM'd TheProf for anything, he has replied pretty much right away. From my experiences dealing with him, its been very positive.
This GB requires a good amount of coordination and work and props to all the people behind it.

As far as I'm concerned, updates would be nice although as Mashby mentionned that the PCBs are yet to be done so there is a bit of time left to get all the part orders done.
I, along with many others I'm sure, would like to have a discussion with TheProf regarding various things but I guess I'll do it when the time comes closer.

The original interest check mentioned that this service would close 7 days after the PCB GB closed. I believe he extended it and then it took a bit to get everyone paid up. At that point everything should have been ordered to minimize delays.

Last update I saw said the PCB shipping notification was received.

1) WFD and Smallfry seem to be on the ball.  If they are willing and able, I think they should take over.
2) Assuming that doesn't happen, I want either proof that the parts have been ordered, a refund, or a plan that details an exact timeline for completion that is measured in single-digit days.
3) Assuming that doesn't happen, sanctions should be applied to the account and I will attempt to extract a refund in RL.

I'm already getting PMs for me to ship plates directly instead of shipping it to Prof, so it's probably best I'll manage the plate and cherry stabilizers/wires. He's getting those directly from me anyways.

But you guys are on your own for orders of switches, PLU keyboards, and refunds. That's not something I can control.

7bit has had the switches ready, some even packed for some time. I completed payment last week and now since the spreadsheet has been finalized he now has the final numbers of switches that everyone ordered.

The total number of cherry spacebar wires has also been sent to WFD in my latest pm to him, the last 3 I sent to him I never got a response to over the past few weeks but hes probably busy as well.

As soon as i get confirmation from WFD that he can produce that number of spacebar wires i will order the stabilizers from their respective sources along with the leds and resistors.
