[Euro] Cherry g80-1800
« on: Fri, 31 December 2010, 04:00:13 »
EDIT: Currently I have ZERO 1800s. Currently have none for sale.
One pending to Dec.net.
One SOLD to a buddy from minecraft.

Pics are farther down. Can pick up more next friday.
Since this board will fit a Deutsche Post Pδckchen size, Worldwide shipping is only 13,90+packing. 2€ extra will add a small insurance of up to 34.05 value, plus the guarantee the package will only be delivered into your hands, not left with neighbors, etc.

I have an opportunity to grab some stocks of Cherry G80-1800 boards with mx Black switches.

Will give boards to geekhackers for 5€+shipping. I'll make sure to give them cursory cleaning and key testing, but I don't have the time for any major operations. The 5€ boards have either AT or PS2 connectors. The odd USB boards I will be selling seperately. Some are yellowed with age, others near mint. Most will definitely need cleaning. I'll try grabbing the best I can find. All I've seen so far have the German Key layout.

I'll also be getting other random assorted boards that I will be putting up for sale here and ebay. I've seen some ALPS, two SDL-Model Ms, and several G80-3000s with Blues. I'll make threads for them when/if I am actually ready for a sale.

I have 3 here at the moment, two of which are going to my Brother+Dad, so I do have an extra.
I still need to figure out an apropriate pricing for keyboards other then the g80-1800. Hit me up with a PM and we can discuss a price.

I'd also take a black German (or other ISO) G80-3000 with blues off your hands if the price is right... I guess it depends on the condition and whether I find something else by the time you happen upon more G80-3000s.
I'll be watching the classifieds.

I'm interested in almost anything with doubleshot keycaps,
especially if it has a 'custom' model-name ..

I'm interested in a g80-1800 with any colour colour cherries, but would prefer browns or blues.  Prefer the US layout (horizontal enter key) but I'm not that fussy at this price!

I'll consider other boards, please let me know what you get!

To the many people posting about the g1800 with switches other then Black: I'm sorry but the chances of that are highly unlikely, since they were only officially sold with cherry black switches. The only chance of one would have to have been a custom order like the g80-100hfb with Blues Sixty sold a little while back. Chances are highly unlikely, sorry.

I will be posting a seperate thread for any other boards I get once I get them. The g80-1800 will also be the only ones priced at 5€, sorry guys^^.

Thanks for all the interest, i'll get to making some pictures asap.

I'd like to buy a g80-1800 with black switches if you have one left with USB in good condition

To be honest I registered the only one with USB I found on ebay already :S.
Will keep my eyes peeled for more, and in the future will give first dibs to geekhack.
At the moment I have 3 g80-1800 with ps2 connector.

Alrighty, im attaching pics of the two g80-1800s i have here right now. They work, but need some cleaning.

I've made some pics of the g80-3000 and g80-1000 with blue switches and will be posting seperate threads for them.

Currently  all sold or pending. Will update once I have more.
Please post/PM me if you definitely want one, since it would be better for me to know how many I need to grab.

I'm very interested in having this kind of Keyboard. I'm from Europe ( Spain) so the ship will be easy.

It will be fantastic if you  could get MX Blue if possible, tell me if you prefer that I write it on the other Thread.

Mainly interested on MX Blue but that MX Black layout it's cool.

PD: I forgot to say THANK YOU for your time :D

Will update once I get more next week.
Funny that you say it, because dec.net, who is buying one 1800 and my g80-3000 for the purpose of trasplanting the cherry blues to the g80-1800 said the same thing. He's got himself a project alright^^.
