Also quick question on the design, is the case/plate is a top mount and is it a high profile where the bottom of the keycaps are hidden? The initial renders make it seem as if they are exposed.

Top mounting is right.
The bottom of keycaps are a bit exposed as you can check photos in prototype album.
We limited the height of front edge to be around 20mm. If it's too high, it might be a bit uncomfortable when typing. ;)

Normal hand nail won't do damage on it. I don't know about other sharp stuffs but you certainly won't want to make them near your keyboard. :p
We all do a impact test to see how it goes comparing to anodize finish.

I saw this thread when the first renders were up and i felt it was kinda "meh", now as i come by just by accident (browsing gh that is^^) it went up to "must buy". Good job!
May i ask what color is presented in the first picture, the link says silver so i'm unsure what to select. 
Also, may i suggest an option to add on the Polycarbonate bottom plate (instead of only being able to choose between Aluminum and Polycarbonate), extra switch plates and extra PCBs?

Hi. The pic you mentioned is silver which we set it as a color option till white came up.
The case with a gold plate is white I think (can't really recall it).
We'll put some new renders in product page when the GB is about to start.
Surly you will be able to buy extra parts. It's just a bit complicated to put them all in the same page.
We are still doing a research for it. :p

Guys, more renders are up. :p
You will be able to see all case others and all plate colors in these pics.
Brass plate and PC bot plate are also been made for having a look.

We are still waiting for a payment provider to activate credit card payment at the moment.

Looks gorgeous. I've been looking for a new ISO TKL for a little while, so really excited I found this!

I would absolutely be down for a blue, and maybe a white depending how matte it ends up looking. I suppose I'll finally have to learn how to solder as well.  :-[

The page mentions south-facing LEDs -- does this have keycap lighting as well as the underglow, or did I misunderstand?

Yes the board supports both in-switch LEDs and RGB underglow. But as in-swich LEDs are facing south, you'll need to find shinethrough keycaps which alphas are on the bottom side of surface. That way the light will be able to go through.
If you are not looking for that effect, then don't worry about keycap choice. ;)

I think a real white, not fake mao white, it's a great option. Whether it is electrophoresis, cerakote, or powder coat doesn't matter too much to me, as long as it is white white white. Not the bamboozle grey that is mao white.

Just thought that most guys want silver to be as white as possible, so why don't we make a white color directly? ;D

The small pre-sale is only for WKL version.

SolidCactus ordered a WK Doppio which is not available right now. So we refunded the order.
We wrote down the note on the invoice, but seeming like it didn't show up for SolidCactus.

Please send me a pm if you want to get an early ticket for a WKL Doppio.
Invoice will be sent via shop for the receiver to pay. :thumb:

How thick is the plate will be? i heard thick plates are what cool kids play with these days. Im 100% in if there's thick steel/polcarb plate, brass maybe too expensive.

    Weight total if you can guess?

    Will it sound good and compact or hallow?

    No brass weight option... to keep the price down?

    Where do you guys ship from, possible to declare lower value so people have not to pay 1/3 of the price to customs?
