Title: Custom PCB and displays for WEY MK06

I have 2 WEY MK06 keyboards and I want to take one apart and build a custom PCB so I can pick my layout and run QMK and not deal with the proprietary controller and cables. I have the PCB CAD design coming along well but I am trying to figure out what controller to use for the PCB. Ideally it would be something that is all in one like the Teensy but I wanted to get the opinion of those who have actually done this before. Any ideas for replacement displays and ways to control them would also be very welcome!
