I'm guessing he just uploaded the CSV twice by accident (maybe a double click) so PayPal processed it twice.

Well, something wonky happened... I attempted to pay the lower-numbered invoice but when the page refreshed and marked it paid, it's showing the higher-numbered invoice.  The lower-number invoice remains unpaid.

Exact same thing happened to me. Had both invoices open, clicked Pay Now on lower invoice number, and once it processed, it marked the higher invoice number as paid.
