Yeah, you can either put the steel inserts for weight or acrylic ones for LEDs.

Looks good. I don't know why there aren't many aluminum numpads out there. There is this, the 356 numpad and the butterfly and that is all I know of.

I'd so buy one if he did. Then I could have a numpad on either side of my lightsaver.  :))

Just forgot, huh?  Haha nice.  That's a solid looking num pad.  Did OTD ever make a num pad with one of those brass plates underneath?  Those always look really good.  I don't care if it's just a num pad and doesn't need the extra weight.   :p

Makes sense, if you ever want it resoldered and the pcb cleaned let me know.

Dumb soldering question.  How do you clean a pcb?  Use a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol?

LOL yea. I was really busy with moving, and just packed a bunch of boxes into the garage. Only recently dug them back out to sort stuff.

I am not sure if one was made with brass, but that would be pretty amazing

At work I used mineral spirits and a brush, at home I use the highest % rubbing alcohol I can find (usually in the 90 range) and a small paint brush with trimmed bristles so they are stiffer. A toothbrush would work fine but just make sure you are using the purest rubbing alcohol you can find.
