Hello. I've been asked by KBDfans to design a set to be produced by Enjoypbt based on the old Cherry G81-3000 set.
So far, it has been decided that it will follow the original design except that it will have Text+Icon modifiers rather than just icons and the Prt Sc/Sys Rq key will be done in green like the original.

I have added a Super, Code and diamond icon OS keys of varying sizes. My rationale is that the Super key was more popular than Code so I've added 1.5u and 1.25u sizes for these. I've added 1u Code instead of Super because 1u the Super legend looks tight on 1u. I have only included 1u diamond keys because they can double up as 1u Fn keys for split R-shift and they are harder to centre on anything larger than 1u during manufacturing.

14/02/2019 - Windows 95 OS key is leading in the google form but I am thinking about adding 1u diamond, 1.25u and 1.5u super keys as well as having 1u and 1.25u Windows 95 OS keys.

26/03/2019 - Updated the preview with the full kit as it stands
27/03/2019 - Added accent keys to the kit. Removed 1u Menu key.
28/03/2019 - Added R4 pipe key and R2 Control key for HHKB layouts. Removed 1u Backspace and 1.5u Fn keys.
01/04/2019 - Split the kit into a base kit + addons with the numpad & additional accents keys.
02/04/2019 - Some corrections made to the kit. Files sent to KBDfans for prototyping.
27/04/2019 - Added renders. Still waiting for samples.
08/06/2019 - Added an ortho kit. Still waiting for samples
16/06/2019 - Photos of samples added
16/12/2019 - Added an "Ergo" kit. Next round of samples has been ordered with a new blue.
12/10/2020 - Kit updated.
23/10/2020 - 40s kit updated.
07/11/2021 - 40s kit updated again. Group buy date set.
08/11/2021 - Added a F13 key.
09/11/2021 - 1.75u spacebar added to 40s kit. 1u and 2u spacebars removed from kit.

I don’t mind the idea of a more grey base as opposed to the usual beige, but please leave the legend colors in tact. It’s just not a SAT set without those sexy, blue front-printed legends :)

I would like to see the legends from 3000 used over 3004 as well.

Regret:
I think a beige set would be pretty great. A lot of grey sets coming in development or already out.

I am of the same opinion too. Would love to see this come to life with amazing legending
