Windowed keys are our best bet though.  If we can get 50 people or so to buy 10 each we can do it.  Windowed keys would be cheap enough that that's not unreasonable and people hopefully wouldn't mind having a few extras.

If we do them blank then MOQ ought to be easy. If there are 12 keys in each set we only need 34 orders to reach MOQ.

I am still hoping for a run of windowed stepped caps locks but people don't need as many of those unfortunately.

I figured I would do printed caps lock 1.75 fulltouch + 1.75 stepped row C, 1.25 and 1.5 row B; Num Lock; Scroll Lock; blank row E x16, blank row B 1 + 1.25... in both black and dark grey and loose the regular doubleshots of those keys to keep the price lower. I'm also interested in row F and row A stuff when I reorganize the dark grey and black buy, but I am unsure about how many others.

That isn't how it works.  You would still need 400 orders.

That isn't how it works.  You would still need 400 orders.

I believe you missed the key that they aren't printed, so that makes it 400 units. If we need them to have legends, then it doesn't work of course.

Edit: It is the same discussion as before with the MOQ of 400 at $X/each being exactly the same thing as MOQ of 200 at $2x/each which people still seem to have trouble understanding.
