And the PCB isn't working.  Did anyone else have their PCB and plate stacked on top of each other during shipping?  I'm wondering if that caused an issue with my PCB.  It's being detected but I'm getting "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) in Windows.

Mine were bundled together but I think they were separated by 1 layer of the wrapping parchment IIRC. Mine shows ps2avr something.

If you're getting a failed request, it's most likely one of the diodes or capacitors got knocked off. So check the back of your PCB. I had the same error when I got a PCB from KBDfans and they had to ship me a replacement capacitor

Thanks for the feedback. I had something similar with my KBD67 and it looked like my USB port was messed up (pins looked bent and pushed in) so I replaced them with a new USB port and it works. The USB port on this PCB looks fine to me.  I check the capacitor and diodes and they all look intact. The only thing I questioned was these next to the USB port. Is there something that suppose to be there?  It’s on top of the PBC so I thought it’s suppose to be missing.

Hey guys, with regards to the plate screws not being able to tighten, I believe that the screws provided are too short. Clarified with the runner the exact specification of the screws used and found that it was supposed to be M2x6 instead of the M2x4 that was provided.

I ran into the same issue with the screw holes. 
I tried some longer M2 screws and still didn't find any thread to grab onto in 4 of them.
I suspect issues with tapping those holes.

Other than that it's a great looking keyboard.
(I used the sale + vinegar trick to clean the finger prints off the weight)

Received my blue one and I have to say I'm neither happy nor disappointed with the color. It's definitely not the sample's color, and I was really excited with the muted teal color shown a couple of comments back. It is more saturated than that, and it's splitting my opinions.

Yeah, those scuffs are pretty obvious. 
So that's 2 of the 6 yellow keyboards (counting the order list) which ended up with major defects
I hope there is some sort of remedy available.

With obvious defects like that going unnoticed, one has to wonder about their QC process (if any at all).

I think the e-yellow was last minute change so I assume there wasn't any or minimal since they had to rush it out along with the already done colors

Can anyone share the hex file with me?  I'm getting errors whenever I plug in my PCB and tried to contact Frosty about it.  His last message was to try to get it into bootloader mode which I was able to do, but he never gave me a file to flash.  The lase communication I had with him was back on Sunday so I'm still waiting on him for further instructions.  I thought maybe if I can find someone with a hex file I can try flashing it back to life.

I just left those holes alone.  The rest seem to do well enough a job.

Any ideas what size LEDs to use for the indicator lights? Was thinking 1.8mm since the size of the hole cutout is pretty small. Anyone tried putting in the LEDs yet?

At least like 5-6 of my threads are completely unusable. Some people just got lucky but that is definitely not a solution for everyone.

I'm having the same problem others have mentioned. One of my bottom case screws just spins and doesn't latch onto threads.

Got longer screws and managed to get 7 of 8 screws to catch. With the provided screws I only managed to get 2 or 3 to screw in.

Just look for M2 x 6mm screws... You should be able to get them at your local hardware store.

Not bigger screws, but longer ones. Maybe try 6/7/8 mm ones.
