I found myself first with one F XT, then another. Surprisingly the one with better paint (and very good foam) has some plate rust and badge corrosion, while the one with faded paint that smells like mildew is completely rust free with a perfect badge (on further inspection the smell might be the severely rotted foam).
What are my options regarding finding a replacement? IBM was kind enough to make the badge a 1 inch square, so it's an easier size to have made than narrower badges. Have people had any luck running groupbuys for replacements in the past? Does anyone have a vector version of the printing on the badge?
