Would this come with 1000HZ for wired?

Yes, wired and 2.4G both come with 1000HZ.

This is purple PVD SS.

Wireless

We have contracted a hardware development company in the peripheral industry. They have customized a triple-mode firmware solution and dedicated driver for Cycle7. In preliminary testing, the latency of Bluetooth and 2.4G reached a level that surprised us. It's equipped with two 2200mAh batteries to ensure battery life in wireless mode.

Sorry if this was already asked/answered, but does this custom firmware allow for key mapping, as the wireless version will not ve VIA-compatible? Very excited for this board!

Yes, of course. The firmware allows for key mapping.

Possibly a stupid question, and no matter what, I'm grabbing a unit.

Has the ball-catch mechanism been stress tested with detaching and re-attaching the top case to the bottom case multiple times? And if so, was there a number where it started to show wear and tear?

Not like I'm going to be rebuilding 100s of times, but I just wanted to throw that out there out of curiosity.

GLWGB, can't wait to grab mine next week!

Thanks for your support! The ball-catch mechanism will keep tight even rebuild it thousands of times. :D

Thanks for the response!

Obviously, we'll have to see once everyone gets their units from the GB, but this could really be a turning point in the hobby (Cycle7).

I know  that the Matrix Corsa and jris75 also use a catch ball mechanism.

For sure! I guess I should've clarified - more like how the Geon's Frog TKL changed the hobby (in-housing some or all parts of creating a board = ridiculously good price for what you get), I think the Cycle 7 is going to do the same.

Ano is ridiculously good for the price, and so are sound, feel, and looks (while taking into consideration preference). A board that in no way should cost this little for as fantastic it appears to be!

Of course, until we get our units in our hands, we won't really know (or until the Chinese GB participants get their boards) if it's just the reviewer boards that are like this, or if it's all of our boards.

I opted for WKL Lunar - Hotswap Wireless PCB, That includes the batteries but - does that mean i will not receive the internal brass weights? Hope this is not the case!
Asking here since it is not listed specifically at any vendor.

There is room under the brass weights for the batteries. They are actually referred to as battery covers in the product description. The wired version has that same space filled with foam or some other material beneath the weights.

Are we going to get any kind of further information or video on how the wireless PCB functions and the features available on it before the GB closes?

Considering it's new and not the QK/Zoom software, I'd like to see it before I commit to purchasing...

You need to consider offering ISO enter in the hotswap PCB as well. Hope this feedback will be considered for Cycle8 atleast. Neo 80 supports ISO enter on hotswap PCB. This is actually a deal breaker after seeing the flexibility offered on Neo 80.

I agree, there doesn’t seem to be ISO enter support on the hotswap board for the Cycle8, at least not from the zfrontier page. I suggest waiting for the international sale page to see if that carries over.

Upcoming Cycle8 is a classic TKL. See the zfrontier links posted earlier. There’s no actual English language product page available just yet.

The GB for Cycle8 is already in progress in China. Cycle7 deliveries are in progress worldwide. If this is not brought to their attention now, it might carry over to the international GB as well. Sure we have to wait for the international IC/GB details.

I just received this keyboard today, build quality and the TKD coating is all perfect! Acoustically with all the foams in it's pretty much the thockiest keyboard you can find! Without foam it still sounds great and full.

@clickclack.io What I need now is the software download to remap the keys since I
got the Bluetooth/wireless version.  Please help provide the link here. Thank you!

Although it's not as big as a saving as I originally thought. I went all out with the $180 package, plus $50 shipping and another $25 for duty. All in all it's over $330 Canadian.  FYI for My fellow Canadians.
