Looking at GMK Rudy right now, the Canadian cost for the base set is quite reasonable (189CAD versus 172CAD post-conversion on Cannonkeys) after taking into account all the factors you mentioned. Even the base duty fees are a minimum of $10 before adding on tax when receiving a set as an individual. Hopefully you can give it some thought!
That's partially because Deskhero applies taxes afterwards during the payment section, so it would actually be 189.99 + 13.39 for shipping (for me, around the same as shipping from cannonkeys actually), then 13% tax on both results in 26.44 in additional taxes. So not really much difference in the end(?). so the cost of the actual set would be around 215 (190*1.13), only a better deal if you expect to pay more than $43 in duty fees when buying from the US proxy.

Do we know if a deskmat is plan for the set? Also did you plan rama keycaps?last thing is it possible to add to the aesthetic a caplock key with look trough LED but not stepped?

I really dig this, I have wanted a GMK Muted R2 for some time now and this one looks very similar to GMK Muted.I hope there is a Europe based site that will also sell GMK Modern Dolch Light.
Personally, I prefer the diamonds to the apple command icon and I feel like the majority of buyers aren't mac users. I use both, but would still prefer the universal icons.

Hey everyone!First a general update on timing, GMK Modern Dolch Light will run in February from the 2nd until March 1st! Secondly, a popular request was having proper Apple style icons for the bottom row in the Modern Kit. We're considering changing the kit to the one linked below.
