This looks amazing. High-profile, wireless, and ergonomic layout. I share the concerns about the thumb cluster but I do enjoy the compact look with the current layout.

It's my understanding that this uses wireless chips pulled directly from logitech keyboards. Will we have to buy the keyboards and harvest the chips ourselves? I'd love to learn more about this usb-to-usb wireless method, is there anywhere I can find more information? Open-source code/schematics would be even better if they exist.

Looking good, will there be a polycarbonate or other encasing material for the bottom to protect the PCB from dust but allowing a high range Bluetooth signal?

Got a question, would you make it possible to order a left and right case of different colors? :) I got some interesting ideas..

How about wrist rests? Would these for an Ergodone fit? https://kbdfans.cn/collections/keyboard-part/products/ergodone-wrist-rest
My guess is that some of the lengths do not fit perfectly, but better than nothing.

You're doing everything right. :thumb:

Regarding bottom row. Go with whatever you feel is right. Honestly, having to buy one extra kit, if that's what it takes, to cover it is nothing.

I'm currently considering taking the plunge for a split ergo-ortho keeb, but so many have floating keys and I'm not into that. So hi-pro, ano-case, bt, QMK and sensible thumb clusters? Yeah, you got me. ;)

Edit: Just wondering. Have you considered vertical stagger as well?

Will RGB underglow with an acrylic bottom be an option?

What is the reason for the gap between the thumb cluster and the 3 keys int he bottom row? I would move the 3 keys nearer to the thumb cluster, but that could be just me doing too much with the thumb. ;)

Please change/add support for 1-1-1 bottom row instead of 1.25-1-1.25 that way this can easily use Ergodox Kit without any other kit (alpha + ergo kit don't have 1.25u)

Beside that, THIS IS ULTRA EXCITING :thumb:

This is being added, plus all the mix and match for layout and color options!

That image is a good demonstration of what I don't like about the ergodox thumb cluster.

Doesn't typing with fully extended fingers make it hard to reach between rows?

Hi, thanks for raising the concern. I think the pictures you provided are probably not the best comparison, please see the real-world pictures taken for comparison. The issue won't be as drastic as what is shown in the photoshopped version you provided. In reality, when people use the ergo they don't position the hand 100% straight. Plus, this UniGo66 has gone through a few trial iterations and this thumb position issue has not been raised by prior users.

The primary reason for the design option was that it is a bit more convenient for game players with a little bit of left shift for the thumb keys.
