Ok everybody, I thought it would be fun to transmogrify a keyboard a la Calvin and Hobbes. If you are a big fan of the strip then you might get the joke here. The font used is aptly named Calvin and Hobbes, from Dafont.com. The delete key goes "boink" and caps turns you into a dinosaur.

While cute and imaginative, I would like it even more if we had Calvin and Hobbes somewhere on the keyboard.

Just so you're aware of the scope: if you're hoping to get this set made with SP, you will need to have custom legends cut, which for an entire set like this will be quite expensive.

As would I, but I'd hazard a guess that OP is trying to avoid any issues since Bill Watterson never licensed C&H for any commercial use.

It would be really cool to have the function row populated with different C&H characters like his parents, Susie Derkins, the Babysitter, Spaceman Spiff, tiger Calvin, etc.

Bill Watterson was against licensing, but also never sued on knockoffs. I would prefer to keep it just Calvin and Hobbes, due to the set being so "clean".

I didn't want to put characters on the board for three reasons.

1. not to disrupt the cleanliness of the board
2. The polar bear in a blizzard reference
3. Legal. I don't know if SP would produce it for fear of a lawsuit.

Best way to get around legend issues would be to dyesub the red on white using imsto, and include a red on black doubleshots as an alternate so you won't have to pay a fortune on legend fees. Something like a Calvin and Hobbes on the winkey would be a solid choice.

This does sound best. I'd buy this if it was out.

Calvin and Hobbes is my desktop image.  I love Calvin and Hobbes.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

Is it weird that my first though when reading the thread title was a set with little C&H snowmen on the caps?

Anyhow, what would these be? Sherpical, cylindrical?
