[Q]Looking for my first switch sampler kit, which one should I go with?

QWER6, WASD, CM Demo Board, Desk Cherry MX Sampler or the Max tester kit? I would prefer the cheaper one, but I do consider things other than the price.

Yep, the Cooler Master version is the most complete. Although it's tough to find Clear switch boards, they are my favorite, so you should definitely try them too.

Another vote for CM.

It is closest to a real keyboard (plate + case), comes with 6 switches (some have less), and makes a really neat display case for special keycaps.

QWERkeys is probably the next best - it simulates switches on a plate.

Raw switches are not much use, but it doesn't hurt to have a few lying around in case of an accident.

CM then Qwerkeys. They both give you the ability to put the switches in a case like object. The raw switches plus keycaps are better than nothing, but having something stable is great. I give the nod to CM because they have a clear switch. Qwerkeys has a white switch instead which is much more rare and not as useful to test.
