Keyboard of the Month - March - Vote
« on: Tue, 09 April 2019, 11:23:47 »
Hello all and welcome to March's edition of X60 R of the month! Wait, I mean Keyboard of the Month!

So yes, it is the Month of the X60 R, and our three nominees are all out of the brain of xondat. I did have to make a decision between Rafa_n and Regionfree's X60 Rs, but I had to go with Regionfree's because I am a sucker for purple and winkeyless as well.

You will notice I have put the colours at the end of each nominee just to make sure you don't make a mistake :)

So your nominees this month are:

Exanile_tabasco's X60 R

Original post here

Kekestee's X60 R

A couple more pics and links to other threads here

and finally Regionfree's X60 R

A lot more photos here

As always, you have one vote and seven days to pick! Good luck!
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

A great collection of small boards.

Easy vote though :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I am unsure.

We could do a run off vote. Orrr we could have a neutral party decide. Or we could have them both win. Or I could just pick one.

Just pick the blue one and be done with it.

You know you want to.

Look at it, sitting there sparkling away, while the other one just sits there and sulks.

Go on ... it will all be over then.

pink has better keyset but wkl is better and bonus points for the cherry enter.

if it was hot pink this would be a no brainer. but i'd be fine with either winning.

They're both so lovely. It'd be a shame for one of them to have to lose, but unfortunately for the pink one, it does.

Actually scratch that, I just read Kekestee's build log. That is a really, really nice job.

They are all great boards - it really doesn't matter who wins.

As long as it is the blue one.

They are all great boards - it really doesn't matter who wins.

As long as it is the blue one.

There you go, misspelling purple again.

I was going to get an RGB keyboard so I could set all the LEDs to blue.

True story.

I could see a purple board with all purple LEDs...  good idea, that!
