[IC] ROUGH- TKL F13 Keyboard (by NEWONE)

What kind of keyboard is ROUGH?

Hello everyone, this is NEWONE.

We have decided to prioritize the release of the TKL over the existing ROSE75.

The housing emphasizes a rugged feel by making full use of the shape of the CNC tools.

To achieve a simple yet aggressive look, we gave the bottom case a rough, blade-like texture.

The distinctive feature is the combination of two lines using either brass or stainless steel.

At NEWONE, we strive to break away from traditional keyboard designs by offering high-quality, distinctive products. If you're interested in our unique creations and want to stay updated on our group buys, please visit our Discord: https://discord.gg/kNC6PW5vm3

I like the design and definitely am interested. But I don't see how this meets the whole "we strive to break away from traditional keyboard designs by offering high-quality, distinctive products."

That said, I like the design overall. Looks good.

I have received your feedback. The upcoming TKL lineup is one of the simplest products among ours. We will continue to strive to create new keyboard designs in the future. We would appreciate your continued support.

Dont see anything exciting here. Basic wedge board with machining at the back. Have seen this design language before on other korean tkl. Dont like the logo at the back looks like some screw with some shapes going on. Definitely not the fan of the logo. Not sure why prioritize this over something like rose 75 which is more exciting and unique. Anyhow good luck with this. I would like to see this going back to the drawing board to make it more exciting since there are so many other interesting projects going on. Not sure this will fit in well nowadays when people are less reluctant to spend money.

Unless you can price this much better than the kbdfans 8x mkiii, I don't see why there'd be enough people interested in picking this over that tbh. But if it is around $180 or below, or similar to the neo80 or cycle8, then that'd be interesting I guess. But its a tough sell when its shaped like a tofu.

I like this a lot. Simple F13 TKL with nice machining marks. The black and red ones with the brass weight look great! Waiting patiently for sales info.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We also have a lot of love for the Rose. Although we wanted to proceed with Rose first, the vendor has not been confirmed yet, so we decided to start with Rough. We apologize for this and plan to proceed with the Rose as soon as the discussions with the vendor are finalized.
While the Rose emphasizes curves, the Rough is a model focused on a classic and simple design. Thank you once again for your feedback.

Thank you. We also applied ESD coating to the brass weight, focusing on preserving the brass color as much as possible. We will share the schedule as soon as it's available. Thank you once again.

Personally, I think you need to revise the font on the "Rough" a bit or make it smaller, it looks tacky like an energy drink font.

I'd buy a wedge, just at the right price, the competition must be considered.

We will do our best to offer it at the most competitive price possible.
