So I would be good like this?

If you don't lub/tune your switches, you seem to have got all the items needed in the cart. ;)
If you want to have your switches tuned, you will need springs, switch stickers, lub for sliders(krytox), and lub for springs(not available at my webstore).
Even though I have made/assembled/tuned HUNDREDs of keyboards for others, I myself don't have a full-tuned Custom Keyboard now.
So Ironical!

For newbs (which I am one) I would rather give GON the task of tuning and supplying the springs and switch stickers because the keyboard works way better when he adds his famous touch to it.

Rest of the gear like lube can easily be bought off [CTRL]ALT or Ebay.

Hi GON,

any chance there'll be a winkeyless TKL ISO plate / case?

The aluminum / acrylic case is (nearly) exactly what I'm after.

GON NS NerD TKL already supports the layout you want. ;)
You can see it here.
http://www.gonskeyboardworks.com/custom-kbds-w-assembly/66-gon-ns-nerd-tkl-w-tuningassembly.html

Of course, you can order the parts only not including assembly. ;)

Thanks,
GON

P.S. The mid part of NS Housings is not Acrylic but Polycarbornate which is more durable(even though they cost more...). ;)

Yeah, sure, the PCB / plate does support that, but I'd hate the holes in the (top / key-) plate, when I choose a

  1.5 / (1.0) / 1.5 / 7.0 / 1.5 / (1.0) / 1.5

bottom row layout, not installing the win-keys (marked (1.0) above).

So any chance you'll have a plate produced for that?

btw: I'd most probably order a kit ;D

With the NS NerD MX-MINI is the product line complete or you have other surprises (for this year)?

Just get some blockers. It's a lot more economical to produce a plate and then source blockers elsewhere.

Or maybe GON can source them for you?

I asked Gon about NerD MX-mini before. He told me he could totally produce those PCB if there is enough demand. I think the MOQ is 50?

Hey Sprit I ordered some LEDs and since my PCB hasn't shipped yet, could you combine the 2 orders and remove the shipping on the LEDs?

Sorry, no way!
You think I cough up some $400 for a keyboard and then have it uglified by blockers?
It's all about style!

(You're right, it's more economical; but the looks - yuck!)

GON, can you get me a quote for such plates (3 anodized in the same color, or 3 anodized in different colors).

Hi members,

I'm developing NerD MX-mini PCB now. ;)
It will take about 1-2 months for me to finish developing.

The order is open on my website.

But what I need now is, MOQ.....
I need at least 36+ demads to produce white PCBs. ;)

Would you plz let GH members know this? ;)
IC will be good. ;)

The price of mx-mini is not decided but it will be between 55-60 ;)

Spec is NerD mx-mini will be the same as NerD TKL Ver2.0 only except for its physical layout.

You seem to have dropped soldering a diode located between "]" and "\(1.5x)".
The diode is "Horizontal" not vertical as others. ;)

Hi Gon,
I have a nerd60 pcb, and I'm happy with it but not my bios.

I can't use it there. It seems that I can toggle n/6 kro with Fn+U, but no more succeed. Is it the right shortcut ? Or am I doing something wrong ?
By the way, can I see which is the current kro state ?

Thanks.

Where can I find more details about the command line configuration tool for the NerD60 ?

Hello!

EDIT: Nevermind, I found what I looked for :))

Also, is it possible to do custom orders? I was thinking about getting a crystal MX Mini in the (far?) future, but I already have tons of switches at my house and I thought I could save some money that way.

On the other hand you have more experience than me with tuning the switches. I am not horrible but I bet you can do a better job ;)

So scratch all that. No questions anymore!

Actually, I'm partly wrong : the keyboard is working in BIOS but not with GRUB. I think I'm missing one module or something like that.
Does anyone already face this problem ?
Edit : it's really a GRUB problem : with syslinux everything is fine.

And about the 6kro, to veriny I used aquakey to verify and it's ok.

If nothing gets stopped at customs, a week or so for something keyboard size. It's mostly just expensive.

You seem to be in France so let's try :
la diode n'est peut etre pas bonne. Pour tester tu fait un pont avec un outil metallique entre les deux bornes. (ce que tu fais au noveau du switch) et tu refait ta manip avec le switch. Normalement ca doit marcher dans ce cas. Si c'est bon tu change la diode et tu retestes.

Thanks MrMen ;)

As he told, I think this would be a matter of Diodes or Switches themselves.
PCBs are all passed BBT test when producing, so no error would be there...

Take a picture of the back of your PCB near the non-working switches if the issue is not solved even with the advice from MrMen.

Checked diodes , I can't seem to find a problem , however if It can help you to understand the problem whenever I do a contact between the points circled in red :

It doesn't trigger alt but spacebar while it's still configured as rAlt and lAlt on the nerdyGui .

Yes but here you still have a diode.
You have to use a metalic wire between + and - of the diode also.

If you diode is not working, you won't have anything with this method.

How's the battery life for the 60% Nerdd V2 PCB if on wireless mode? Does it use bluetooth or another usb dongle?

Checked diodes , I can't seem to find a problem , however if It can help you to understand the problem whenever I do a contact between the points circled in red :

It doesn't trigger alt but spacebar while it's still configured as rAlt and lAlt on the nerdyGui .

I think you'd better check solder joints of L-ALT and R-Alt. Reinforce them with a soldering iron.
Even though I have made/assembled/tuned HUNDREDs of keyboards for others, I myself don't have a full-tuned Custom Keyboard now.
So Ironical!

Bluetooth.
Generally runs more than 24 hours. ;)

Hello GON , getting back to you now that I have time working back onto the keyboard .

There's still fews keys I can't make work , only speaking about the bottom row here .

Here is a small album showing you the soldering , also I can't activate the keys with a tool (like shown in picture 2 ).

I had a similar problem with a KMAC. After I replaced the switches it was fine. I had changed diodes, resoldered - didn't work. Double checked with a multimeter and everything seemed fine and the switch seemed to conduct as it should. I even removed the switch, cleaned the pads, and resoldered it since it tested OK with the multimeter. Finally changed switches - success!

Well I worked on it today , no pictures for the moment , but I changed some of the diodes aswell as switches , still the same 5 keys not registering .

I have some solder points that are way worse than that , and they work just fine .

What pictures can I provide you so you can help me ?

Try remapping the keys - those keys may be registered as something else.
