Discovering my old IBM 83 Key Model F keyboard in my Dad's attic has led me to this forum, after I decided I wuld take on the task of renovating said beast. I've read some very helpful posts from fellow members and know that it's not going to be easy. It still has "Mirth Machine" written in pencil by a friend who thought it was hilarious using such an old computer in University back in '92.
I have a rather nice Model M (which I'm using now), but would love to get the Model F going using Soarer's converter.
I suspect I will be in for a painful, expensive journey, but I hope to document my progress here if that's ok with you guys!
